Now your FW Event makes sense. You want many people to test that thing, don't you? I'm fine with that. |

That needs to be the next step up the Squad Chain. Either full 16-player Squads or the ability to access the Team menu prior to deployment and populate it so all players enter the match together.
Underwhelming for established Units. Yes. But it makes life a whole lot easier for new players and people who ust want to play casually every now and then. |

There are also a new tutorial system being released for new players which is really the bread and butter of 1.5 since vehicles were pushed back to 1.6.
I too want to try out the new tutorials.
Pushed back together with the vehicle update. |

What good is having good core gameplay if you have nothing where you can see it?
Also: When is the core gameplay good enough? When everything is balanced? Won't happen. Ever. Too many items, too much new stuff coming along with new patches.
Of course we are getting shiny new toys and maps in the forseeable future. But I'm growing tired of capturing points. No matter what weapon I use and no matter on what map I play. I want something new to do. |

I kinda think they want to balance what they currently have before adding new stuff. This way it would probably be easier to just adjust the new stuff, instead of adjusting tons of weapons all the time. |

The major new content blocks would be nice at this point (flesh out racial suits, weapons, vehicles) ... i can't wait to see this game in a year when all of that fleshing out is done and they can start work on things like EvE link, economics, PvE, etc.
Wasted? No. Of course not. The thing is that I'm not sure if core gameplay should be a priority. Of course it is important. But is it more important than having content? |
