KInda. It's not like we have good working wormholes in EVE yet. Oh wait, there's jump drives.

I'd like this on a scout specifically. I don't think a heavy should be able to use this to get right on top of you and waste you instantly with his HMG. At least with a scout they'd be squishy as hell so you'd be able to dunk them if they were dumb enough to throw it right next to you.

Also, it should take about a half a second to work and be loud as a grenade so it's used more defensively/tactically as opposed to closing the distance to shotgun someone.

ALSO, you should only have one and it should not be resupplyable. Also it probably would make more sense as an equipment being as it is non-combat oriented really. I don't see it getting any use at all if it takes up your only grenade slot which is important to a lot of scouts...

A way to make it, in my eyes, acceptable for all classes to use, is it should take a certain amount of time based on their scan profile. Roughly 3 seconds for heavy (it'll still be faster than sprinting), 2 seconds for assault/logi, and a half or a full second for scouts. All of this in place just to make sure it's used tactically as a utility instead of a means of teleporting on enemies to dunk them instantly.
