Not really. IMO, vehicles are too expensive. Dropsuit prices are fine. |

I think an all-advanced set up should break even in pub-games. Right now there is zero incentive to use standard suits vs adv. |

Standard = cheap (make money at risk of dying or not doing well) Advanced = Break even-ish (medium risk, medium return, you'll tend to break even if the more or less skill you have the more less you will make). Proto = Risk losing lots of money (high risk but high kill potential)
Seems fine to me. |

I think its pretty balanced given the TTD that we have right now. Prior to 1.4, I would have said differently.
I was running 50k fits prior to the patch and was making money left and right. After 1.4, I started to just break even though my kills went up and KDR remained somewhat the same.
Now, I run a 25k fit so that I can make more ISK. My KDR dropped a little bit but Im back to racking up ISK. |

Nothing in particular. Thinking more along the lines of how effective at ISK farming militia suits are. I realize they need to be cheap but they're virtually free.
Same with basic and advance anything really. |

The Dren and Exile are just about as good as the Gek. 10k isk is already pretty steep for a few extra % of damage. If anything, I'd say tanks and derpships are too expensive (considering how easy they are to counter).

I think the prices right now are fine. Even vehicle prices.
Players have the total freedom to create a suit as cheap or expensive as they want. Same with vehicles.
My rule of thumb is, go into battle with a suit that you can afford to lose... 10x. Can't remember the last time I died that many times, but its a good buffer so I make at least some ISK if things go terribly, and I don't have to butcher myself using a free fit. Even though with the right skills spec'd into, a free fit can became just as good as an ADV fit. |

Let's see, my all advanced fit is about 35K. I die about 5 times per match so 175K in expenses and I usually make about 225K. I can get approximately the same results with a mostly standard fit and make more money but I just prefer my advanced suit. |

I agree with these two, with the additional thought that the variety of player skill makes it impossible to make ADV break even for everyone...setting it to break even for the average player is probably about right, and I think it's somewhere in that vicinity. |

This is saying "The standard is just about as good as the Gek." Because... the Dren and the Exile are just BPOs of the standard. It's a 5% damage buff with I think a very slight range buff. |

I can't wait until we have a player driven market so that I can see how you feel about the prices when CCP doesn't impact prices directly. |

Vehicle prices are way to high... which seems to lend to the idea of vehicle people should have to go several matches without a loss to go ISK positive.... And there fore creating an "elitist" group...
Vehicles in general need to be used more as tool's... not some EVE space ship meant to tank a lvl 4 mission of redberry's...
They need a lot less efficacy.. and put more as a role you can loose 4 tanks in a match and go isk positive... or several dropships...
Then under those circumstances will vehicles have to work together with spider tank's and remote repairer's and logistic LAV's with full buffer fit tanks...
Right now the entire way tanks and vehicles work in DUST is broken. and will always cause problems. |

Well vehicle prices wouldn't be too high if it didn't take an abysmally small amount of ISK/SP/enemies to knock them out |

Again lending to the concept that vehicles need special ability to kill... which doesn't make sense either... Anyone should be killable at anytime by anyone... that's the FPS part.... where player skill comes in.
The RPG and MMO factor is supposed to come in after that essential balance mechanic.
otherwise might aswell make us all lock on like WoW and have hotkey's to fire our weapons..
As a guy who lives in a cave to escape detection can still fire an Rocket propelled grenade(RPG) and take out a billion dollar aircraft.

here we go again Realism =/= game balance. sciFi. It's a game. high TTK game, should we also remove heavies? go play CoD Said nothing about lethality of vehicles, just ttk etc. boring
