DUST Search - October Event Schedule and what they should have for rewards instead

Caldari Prime was an event because:
- Proper Build Up - Between the RPG based stories published as well as CCP publicity
- Actual EVE/DUST Meaning - Was the first time that you saw DUST and EVE fighting around something of meaning
- The Backdrop - Yes, the pretty backdrop actually felt like you were doing something different than the usual pub matches. It added to the immersion of the event.

I disagree completelly, everyone in my corp laughed at it. Big deal if it was meaning full EVE side as well, it ment nothing in dust, NOTHING.

First of all all the Tier III Stuff is unusable by me, everything but the Amarr Tier II is unusable by me, And Tier I everything but the Gallente is unusable. So why should i even care about wasting my time to get into these event to get gear i can't use or i already have stockpile of? My Solution for events like this is give us redeemable tokens that allow use to buy a capped amount of officer gear. So for example if i meet the requirements for Tier 3 under minmatar i would get lets say 50 Officer tokens but if i spent that on Minmatar officer weapons i would get a 30% bonus to the amount of weapons i could get, but if i decided to spend it on lets a Balac Assault rifle i would would get no bonus to the total amount i could get. This keeps Vets that have 1000 proto suits ready to go and over 250 mill, interested in these events. Not only that it keeps Officer gear in cycle for a lot longer through PC battles. *Keep in mind this would be when they added Officer gear for every weapon

The rewards they are offering now . . . most long time players who use these items buy them in batches of 100 in their sleep, and only because 100 is the most you can buy at one time. It's hardly something to get excited about. But offer us something we can't buy with ISK and then you'll see people start caring.

I haven't been excited to get on and play since the last triple SP rvent. Everything since has been so lackluster and boring it's just laughable. I appreciate them trying to come up with events to keep people interested, but these events seem to be so lazy it's just not even worth it CCP event team needs to step it up. We gave them feedback and they respond with "OK cool thanks guys, but we prefer to ignore you and continue on with our same crappy events."
