Disagree completely, participation should be rewarded in the special olympics, this is about WINNING, this is SPARTA, we are cloned merc warriors, there are no rewards for participation here, we don't covet the weak, just other clones wives, we give participation trophys to timmy in grasscutter football to feel better about how bad timmy sucked..... Scouts are fine, remeber they are scouts, not front line assault troops, they will die, their job is to SCOUT, that means go look around and report stuff you see, back hack, scan, stay undetected and mostly out of the fight, if you don't your going to get killed by classes that are suposed to be in the fight, like heavies and assaults, plus you might just suck with it because honestly the new maps with better cqc is great for scouts. |

Lol nothing except they are going to die, playing with a corp, team or squad even if its just 2 or 3 people makes,all the diffrence in this game, I play this game alot, I go solo some times but its not easy and I will quickly give up my solo position to join a squad simply so I can move and shoot with them, solo can be fun but seriously friendly advice playing with others will enrich your gaming experience here in dust, just wait until you and 3 squad mates pull off that double pincher move on a proto heavy none of the 4 could have killed alone, its sweeeeeeeet.... |

Well my adv scout is Gallente and mostly I only run a pistol with it, but honestly I think they are ok, is your scan skill maxed? You know that will increase suit scan by 50% when you max it out right? |

It's not like we want to be super soldiers(even though that's what all clones are) we just want to be on par with other suits. Maybe a 5 meter buff to base range, +2 base PG for Gallente scouts. About half a sec boost to minja all around movement speed. Your right, we aren't meant to survive fire fights for very long. If were spotted were dead...unless they can't hit us. But that's the thing, we aren't meant to be found. So we need better tools to get this done.
Well I'm definitely down for some suit specific modules, like a scout stealth mod? Only a mod scouts can choose to equip and specific to the purpose of the suit? That way if you really want to play your role this module would enable that, and it wouldn't fit other suits..... |

Yea totally.. Scouting and hacking and not fighting is SOOOOO much fun! 
Come on man, I've seen you in that scout suit with a shotty, your not having any problems killing, your really good with it, I'm not saying scouts shouldnt engage I'm just saying they were not designed to, if you want to jump in to the mix with less than 400 hp that's on you, scouts are really good for SCOUTING but not much else unless your good with it the way Marauder is, but in the mean time don't be surprised if you die, as to the original poster I don't think 5m buff or that 1 or 2 extra base pg is asking to much, my question how did they arrive at their numbers and how did you arrive at yours, btw I run cal logi but I have a lot of fun in my scout suit with pistols, md, and shotty, I'm just not very good with it and rarely do I use the suit as its intended, but if you really want that buff your going to have to sell the cpm and all of the eve nerds that currently sit on it..... |

Indeed, the Academy is seriously messed up. People get out of it in 3 to 4 matches, they hit pub or fw, get stomped, uninstall game. That is happening. WP should be upwards of 20k wp or smth similar.
It didnt use to be that way remember, but all the fail hards that call themselves good players kept making alternates going to the academy and raping simply to isk farm. Thats the problem is when people fimd a way to, exploit something they feel they are entitled to do so rather than having a modicum of honor, self restraint, or discipline. |
