Also a assault frame with proto swams and some complex mods would be even more of a thorn in your side. Its not like heavies are the only AV frame out there and its not like the forge gun is that much of a dominating AV weapon. Proto swarms do almost as much damage and allow the shooter to go back into cover quickly. I myself play with both and while i prefer my forge gun i tend to bust more tanks with my swarms, probably because they almost never miss and can just about do a 90 around corners. Honestly this whole thread is a pointless whine. About the only thing correct here is that tanks do need some love and the logi lav's are far too durable. I think everyone knew that already though.

read what i wrote. logi lavs dont die in one shot unless youre glass cannon fit, which presents more problems than it solves.

the problem is that most people think heavies should be used like assault suits. there arent designed for that. theyre meant to defend and hold territory.

but if theyre mobile, then they end up defending and holding the entire map. which is a problem in terms of balance

this here is the mindset of an amateur, any suit can be used any way, it does not say in the skills or the suit description that it is a point defence suit, it does however say that it can stand toe to toe with enemy vehicles, you got killed by a heavy being smart and using a lav to transport his slow fat easy assed bullseye around like a smart heavy quit your bitching and become more versatile and adaptable
