Just to cap the SP and do PC's and Tourney.... there really isn't an enjoyable game other then the friends you have made here from when it was...
The sense of boyish wonder with exploring the new maps was gone in a day... as they where simple and easy to learn. |

3 hours Thursday nights for game night (usually 6-10 actual rl friends ;) and then a few games here and there when there's time. I have 3 kids and a life that interferes with my game time. Never realize how much free time you had til you have a career and a family. Now I just need to win the lottery and I'll see you guys more in game. |

I try to log in and play after work for a bit, usually 1 - 2 public matches. The game is still a bit too repetitive to be enjoyable beyond 30 minutes though, I couldn't see spending 8 hours per day.... I hope my tax dollars aren't paying for your living, whoever that was at the top of the thread.... |

As a college student, I spend more time playing Dust than I do for all my classes combined. I cap 2 characters a week (this one and Muud Kipz), and then occasionally **** around on my heavy alt. |

I stopped playing almost entirely a couple of months ago, then came back to try 1.4, liked it, hooked up with a good bunch of guys and am now back to two or three hours a day, four or five days a week. |

Normally I'll login everyday to collect the SP bonus and play a few rounds, but then I have College and Work so play time is limited other than that. The most I'll be on for is about 3-ish hours, anymore than that and I feel as if I could do something better with my time. However, the occasional marathon weekend is always nice! |

4-6 hours, 5 or more nights a week.
With the new bonus for consecutive days, I can see myself going a little out of my way to at least log in everyday. Jumped out of bed the other day to log all my characters before down time rolled around. (It's basically like adding another week's SP cap every month, and almost worth it.) |

I play approximately an hour a day between Wednesday and Friday. On Saturday I usually play until I've gotten 90% of the way through my remaining cap and finish off the last 10% on Sunday. I wish there was some sort of extra incentive to play past cap. Yes, I'll play just for the fun of it if I am playing with friends, but I would be happy to have a reason to pub after cap. Maybe something like a 25% ISK earnings boost once your SP cap is achieved. |

Used to be 3-5 hours a night, now its 1-2 hours a week.
1.4 patch made the game less fun for me and I have just kinda drifted away. New football season made it easier. |

ATM I've been trying to get in at least 3-4 games a day. Which can be anything like an hour to 3, depending on if I'm keeping track. I spend a lot of time discussing how I want to spend my SP/ISK. If it's slow in the office now I've been playing more. The game is a bit addicting.
When I first started playing FPS games I would sit and play from when I woke up until I was going to pass out. Idk how I did that - thankfully now I've reigned it in a bit.
What's hardest for me atm is I only play on a monitor so I don't hear any sounds :( I want to get a small TV or something for the office so I can hook up a headset (i'm not very technically savvy, not sure how to get sound from the PS3 if I am HDMI connected to a monitor with no sound output).
I'm afraid to take the PS3 home and play because I don't think I'd spend time with my dog or friends. CCP Mintchip // Twitter - @CCP_Mintchip Dust 514 Community Rep |

If you get the PS3 headset or any that connect through USB, you can just plug it into the PS3's USB ports. (Outta luck if you want to play with a keyboard and mouse as well though...)
Edit: though musta's solution is probably cheaper. |

Easy peasy, get one of these cheap things: rca to 3.5 both female
You can then plug in your headphones into that cable and plug the AV cable that came with the ps3 that has 3 ends (left, right and video) and plug the two ends into left and right and just ignore the yellow video end. The picture will still come out of the hdmi.
Then in the ps3 settings you choose audio output to AV and voila you'll have sound through the headphones and picture through the hdmi still. |

I know that feeling =\
I'm soundless too. I'm still question why the PS3 will let me hear voice chat via the headset I have, but not in-game sounds... |

Yeah I do play with a KB/M :( but maybe I could use a USB splitter? :D MAYBE!?
I'll have to get a usb headset. My current headset is Analog because I'm hip. CCP Mintchip // Twitter - @CCP_Mintchip Dust 514 Community Rep |

I plan on returning to Dust when I'm able to take a break from studying (and studiously avoiding studying by lurking on various forums). Winter break or so. Before, during the summer, I'd actually spend something like four hours a day until I could reach SP cap. |
