1. Escort. A NPC supply train of slow moving vehicles. One team needs to defends its route through the map the other need to destroy all the vehicles.
2. Bomb Threat - One team needs to plant bombs to blow up nodes, the other defuses. (counter strike style).
3. CCP - make a map with some landed ships and let us run around in them.. Or shipwrecks. I want to run around a downed EVE ship!!
4. Base defends. Have the attacking team win nodes to open access deeper into enemy base. Objective is to destroy or obtain something inside. Defending team tries to hold points and strategic locations.
5. Search and Destroy - Teams are dropped off and have to cross map and paths trying to get to their pick-up location. Team with the most people able to make it to the pick-up location win. No respawn ability.
6. Lost Technology - A alien artifact or piece of technology has been found and teams are hired to race to the item, claim it defend it. Even have to move it to a pick-up location. King of the hill/capture the flag style.

There are no "aliens" in EVE. There is sleeper, etc stuff though, but that would expand us into worm holes, and I'm pretty sure CCP has a bit more planned for Wormhole space than just a game mode... |

Nice.. (growing idea) you have to protect mining bots in the field as they collect and return. Teams win by collecting the most resources - battle over mining bot survival and good harvesting areas. (have limited supply of mining bots so enemy can use different tactics like attacking the bots or holding key mining areas on the map well their bots mine it. |

!!! Thread was not really about PvE Contracts.. but I invite it! Very cool idea also.. I would suggest one for each type
Scout - sabotage PvE contract Assualt - ? please add idea (search and destroy) Heavy - ? please add idea (Body count timed mission) Logi - ? please add idea (resuppy bunkers, wacka mole style)
All could have a keep NPC alive through map route. NPC = Scientists, Tourists, Militia Force, EVE pilots, Engineers, Erotic Dancers.. all the EVE ones - even slaves for Amarr lol
The above could be solo or you could Que to have one of each type join you. So it could be a PvE contract 1-4. (just ideas). |

not much is known about joves they supposedly have Advanced gear that is greater then the four empires. |

I'm so tired of being thrown into matches against stacked corps who win simply because of lag.
I'm not saying these players are necessarily bad, I'm just saying when you drop my 1200 HP Heavy with what seems like 2 shots from a CRW-04 Scrambler, there is something seriously wrong. |

I've done that. Charged shot to the head, with follow up shots to the head. It'll drop you in about less than a second.
But I hear yeah, lag rules supreme in this game. Factor in auto aim setups, kb&m, true aimbots, and time-to-kill in this game becomes instant, no matter how much HP you wield. |

I remember the game Haze, not really the greatest, but I loved the online P.O.W game mode. You started out either as a prisoner in a cell with a hole in it and tried to escape, or a guard on the catwalks trying to stop the prisoners from escaping. Once a prisoner escaped, he could return in full gear and help his comrades.
A lot of great fun in that. |

Dunno if anyone played enemy territory? but multiple objectives like that would be sweet
pretty much, you have defenders, and attackers, the atacker have to complete 3-6 objectives in succession while the defending side obviously has to stop them
in ET it meant things like laying dynamite and getting through walls (enginer needed, although dynamite could be disarmed) to opening flood gates on sewer system to get in the sneaky way, gaurding ai vehicals as they go through the objectives blah blah blah
point is, multi objectives with attackers trying to finish a goal one by one with defenders trying to feck there **** up and stop them
yeah i prolly made no sense its 5am and i think i drunk too much |

What you're talking about is game type, not contract type. These would fall under the contract types we already have.
Base Defends is what Skirmish originally was, I heard.
Escort...You mean a convoy? A supply train sounds like a literal train to me. Anyways, I'd be okay with something like an alternative to Skirmish where one team tries to take it down with null cannons and the other team tries stop the null cannons.
The others don't sound as pleasing except the starship battles but CCP said they're working on it. |

The way payload and Payload race works is, the objective is a bomb, as friendly players stand near it it starts to move, the more players near it the faster it moves (up to a certain speed). It follows a preset course, designated by railroad tracks in tf2, that the other team can try to defend along. If the attacking team gets the bomb to the end terminus it drops in and blows up killing everyone around it, if they dont they lose. PL race has 2 carts, 1 for each team, and like the name states its a race. |
