It's nice that they made alot, great job for Rockstar... it might even cover the exorbitantly insane cost of making a 'AAA' title... but the first day's gross means nothing. I guarantee you that in a month, over half of these copies will be sitting on GameStop shelves everywhere once everyone finishes the campaign and grows bored of finding new ways to mangle old ladies. Unless the DLC is truly stellar, people won't stick around on a static sandbox game for too long before the next big thing picks them up and forces them to trade it in for instore credit.

Well of course. They made an awesome game worthy of 60 dollars because they put time an effort into... while other devs choose the f2p format to leak funds from their players through a subpar game....

Im still waiting for DUST to be AAA.... but it seems its only getting further with every new true AAA title being released.


And to those saying 60 dollars for a "months" entertainment have forgotten what a good game feels like because they have been playing this pos for so long.

Well fuckn said. I don't like GTA, but Rockstar is THE best developer in the market. They don't mind to make the formula of "launch sequels every year to make a living". They know how to make really great games (i'm still playing Red Dead Redemption, awesome masterpiece).

I hope Rockstar continue the Manhunt franxhise, that game is another brutal masterpiece.

DUST has years to be completed, gets large updates every few months, has massive content; the playerbase wants everything last week to their exact specifications.
