The hit registry with LDS is slightly more delayed then whilst hip firing... your bullets register better and say even three of your teammates are shooting the same low health target and they are LDS'ing... you will get the kill...
This is CCP's aiming mechanics changes to save us 1 fps from the old aiming system they ran in Chromosome... Now i ask you is Uprising 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and finally 1.4 worth overhauling an aiming system regarded by the consensus as good for what we have dealt with for more then half a year?
Personally ill take the 1 FPS drop anyday for an aiming system that works... Would of rather you spent your time on all the memory leaks... My playstation has bad memory already.... it ruins dust having to relog all the time because of poor programming. |

Overlaying the ds3 aimbot and using it with mouse and keyboard as a toggle aimbot... and hitbox extender... Also providing much less delay in the control's then CCP's current KB/M option...

Current mechanics DO reward ADS - if you get a bead on a guy he will die very fast with ADS because your bullets will all hit if you can keep your sight on target. He will die, but die slower, if you hipfire. A lot of people hipfire to compensate for their own movement even at range, and while this will result in a kill, it is a much slower kill than if you ADS. In extreme CQC of course hipfire is preferable because you get more hits regardless of dispersion (geometry of cones...) and ADS nerfs your turn rate.
TL;DR - no, it's not just modded controllers. ADS is still preferable. Hipfire kills are easy yes, but require more rounds fired than ADS.
No one LDS's anymore... and if you are get with the times... |
