I sent Min Lo an amount of isk on EVE to be sent to my dust character. You should have also received a message EVE side stating the amount and details.

The exchange rate from Dust to Eve has changed toward 1 to 5.5. 52M Dust isk would buy you 575M Eve isk, for as long as this rate change lasts.

Well, I've made my first butter-fingers error. When updating recent customers about the rate change by evemail I've mistakenly offered someone an exchange with an obvious error. I wrote,
where the underlined "5" should have been a "2".

I was sent 104M by this customer, and sent them 572M Eve isk (5.5x 104M). They had doubled the 52M in the quote and were expecting another 572M.

What's the right way to fix this? I've immediately offered to reverse the transaction, since they were clearly expecting a 1 to 11 exchange rate. Is this enough? The root of the problem is my typo.

Edit: I'm considering refunding 52M Dust isk (resulting in precisely fulfilling the original quote that contained the typo.) I don't want the community to expect that solution though. Reversing an unsatisfactory transaction (if requested within three days) is the primary remedy; the only remedy I feel bound to provide. I don't want the community to expect me to complete transactions wildly outside the normal exchange rates, if I make a typo that includes an extra digit . Or for example, If I'd omitted the underlined "5" in, "52M Dust isk would buy you 275M Eve isk." I think someone might send me 2M Dust isk and then demand 275M Eve isk, but I don't think someone could send me 200M Dust isk and reasonably demand 27.5B Eve isk, based on that error.

I'm undecided on whether my current offer to reverse the transaction is sufficient, or whether I should honor the quote in my typo and refund 52M Dust isk to this customer. The community's thoughts on the right solution are welcome.
