Pretty much support like IWS said. With the STD bpc's I got with the event I ran a gek and an MD. Which allowed me to support behind the front line, then if flanked switch to the AR. Weirdly it worked very well for me for a few matches. I ended up only losing 3 suits over 5 games, but I think that was mostly because I played support, protected the logis, and scanned people down. Honestly being able to burst down a guy's shield with an AR then hitting them with a MD to the face was pretty awesome.
That was my short term experience with them. Ran them a little more and became very frustrated with having no slots or a grenade. I like the idea but its definitely a weird suit. I feel like it's kind of a novelty right now though.
edit: in short, to me the commando should be kicking it behind the frontline with the logibro. He is your a commandbro. I'll see myself out. |

When i think Commando, i think completely self sufficient unit operating alone behind enemy lines or guy with no under-pants...
Then you look at their slot layouts and i go ...WAT, why is it the no under-pants guy ? |

The comando suit is great fun but nothing else. Dont expect to comoeare in pc with it but proto comando with comolex mods a gek and an exo md is pretty beastly . A few guys in the wolves run comando and ive been dabbking with the lvl1 suit and have to say its pretty good fun. I like tge lazer md combo myself or the scr md .. or any wepon and md combo |

Yeah, they should really switch the Commando and Pilot suit sizes around.
As a nice bonus, the Black Eagles suit will actually make sense. |

people dont get it. The main focus on it is that you get a 5% bonus on the reload for secondary and light weapons. Now what are the 2 weapons that could be the most annoying thing when camping a rooftop? A swarm launcher and a massdriver with 2 complex damage mods. Sure you wont have much HP on your suit but you can spam a AOE weapon from above and if some 1 is stupid enough to call in a vehicle you can take that out with your swarms. And because the damage mods are applied to both weapons you are just farming infantry and vehicles. Basically with the commando you have to play as a prick to utilise the benefits from it. And because your reload your weapons 25% faster the spam is even more effective. |
