Well, "Walking" can be very OP in the right hands...i think "Crawling" in Stations will been much more acceptable. |

Prices are a lot more reasonable when you have discount cards for your regular bars.
I have noticed this a lot, and now have a collection coming along...

So several thousand years in the future, after we discover a wormhole to a distant galaxy, have said wormhole collapse, and rebuild our civilization from near scratch, we will have adopted the Icelandic currency as the universal currency?

Depends on where you go a beer can cost 7-12$. In most bars, it's a pint glass, some places it's a bottle, some it's a large bottle. Some other drinks such as hard shots, hard drinks, can cost anywhere from 10-21$ depending where you go. I remember buying a round of 4 beers(pint glasses) for my group one night, it was 4700 isk, that totals around ~43$ Don't get me started on the meals. It cost a lot there because they get taxed like ~200%-~250% on alcohol. So be sure to stock up on tons of stuff at the airport where it's tax free before you get off into iceland. You won't regret it. Or make friends with one of the Devs, you'll get to tag along to one of their after parties. ;D

Chibi Andy wrote:do you guys accept payment in the form of ISK? I believe you could buy the CCP Fanfest tickets for PLEX, which you can buy in Eve for ISK, which is theoretically the same as Dust ISK.
So technically, yes.
Of course, you can't convert your Dust ISK to Eve ISK yet, and you'd need 6 billion ISK for the 10 PLEX it costs, and you still need the air fair and hotel, and beer. |

Cool.
I just learned something. ISK is the actual currency code for the Icelandic krona.
Something interesting from Wiki for those of you who are of Canadian persuasion:
"In a Gallup poll, seven out of ten Icelanders stated a preference to abandon their currency to adopt another, and the most favoured choice was the Canadian dollar, outscoring the US dollar, the euro and the Norwegian krone. Canada was favoured due to its northern geography and similar resource based economy, in addition to its relative economic stability."

So basically no cheap Rot Gut available. Is there a limit as to the number of bottles of alcohol a person can buy from the airport duty free or can people just go to the airport, get them off shelves and shamble off? Famous Grouse. |

Last I remember, the import limit was 1 liter, which isn't a lot. But, you could easily sneak 2-4 liters through, if you head in during the morning there is pretty much no one at the customs area, just the guy who stamps your passport. |
