Snipers on 6th floor buildings, tanks rollin in on the streets gettin blown up by swarm launchers on the roof, dropship flies in and kills them. Squad of assault frontlines barricade a street, heavy comes in from alley way to flank and then BOOM the rest get ran over by an LAV since they were on the road. Duh no jay walking.
The map will feel GIGANTIC. this would be awesome if I could strategically place remote explosives to blow the buildings up. Can't let the pesky swarm launchers rule the city too much. also dropshipos \o/ i hate to be "that guy" but what your describing sounds very reminiscent of Siege of shanghai in battlefield 4,
sorry for that brief well this is what this game is doing time for a map i would love to see,
picture a giant underground complex with many narrow corridors as well as large rooms with several semi large, medium and small outposts leading to this underground facility where above ground there are also several other buildings and structures as well as null cannons at the same time having some large barren landscapes and even some entrances to the underground complex large enough for HAV's to fit through such as a underground hanger
with main roads and tunnels through mountain sides that LAV's could use to try and sneak around HAV's guarding key flanking points and objectives with many trenches honeycombing throughout the landscape where infantry can sneak through ,
really just picture a defending team has locked down the map where your teams squads have been pinned down inside the complex and HAV's stopping any attempt to flank the enemy by sneaking through a rear entrance all seems lost
but then an allied squad takes to the skies in a dropship as the friendly infantry inside distract enemy troops this dropship has a squad of 2 logis 2 heavys 1 assault and 1 scout fly's behind enemy lines and deploys its drop squad all but the scout drop as the dropship initiates a false retreat now with reinforcements at the enemy's flank deploying uplinks triage nanohives and scans while the heavy's stop any attempt to rush their position with haste the assault pushes forward as your team scissors the enemy and forces them to retreat to the main exit/entrance the hanger
enemy troops now call in tank support to hold off your allied advance leaving their position as your drop squad relays this info to you deploy the scout the scout then hacks the outer null cannons and places uplinks and returns to the dropship to provide air support with the enemy now weak and disorganized your team could pull out a win
with a map like this teamwork would be a must communications would be everything (cool equipment idea a deployable jammer that disrupts voice chat for the enemy team)
air/armored/infantry superiority would be a huge factor as well and that right there is my dream map
