We all know the Commando is not worth spending your SP into. It's very faulty. A good concept, but poorly executed. CCP overestimated the power of two light weapons. They gave it a very bad and unneeded disadvantage to quite a bit of stats. This could be a fun suit to play, but sadly is not.

He mentions it shouldn't be called a 'Commando'. I agree. Commando is more of a leader, someone who takes charge in the battlefield. Throughout this post I'll refer to my suggestion as the 'Spec Ops Dropsuit' or simply, Spec Ops/SO. This name is much more fitting.
The key concept of my idea is to provide many fitting and stat changes to the 'Commando'. Then, duplicate the concept to the other types of dropsuits. Effectively having a Spec Ops dropsuit for a heavy, medium, and light. Each with altered stats and fittings to fit their role accordingly. Let me elaborate on these concepts.
First let's take a look at the current STD 'Commando' heavy dropsuit.

Interesting! Quite a difference. Now let's look at popular fix solutions.
-Increase PG/CPU -Increase eHP -Increase shield regen -Increase number of slots -Increase speed -Switch Commando suit to different dropsuit type -Reduce price
Now before I bring forth my suggestion I would like to bring up the definitions of the 'Commando' and heavy.
