So far I have heard:
- Everyone should uncheck EVERY option in the match selection menu.
- Stand away from anything with an interaction dialogue.
- Back out of EVERY menu
- Delete all excess fittings
- Drop all unnecessary chat channels.
- Drop squad before backing out of battle.
These steps are required to avoid the Army of one bug which required a reboot / deleting your savegame. Anyone else have other tips that work? |

Make sure the power button is set to the "off" position?
Sadly, I'm only half-joking. |

I do find it interesting how players can swear they see a pattern in the randomness. Unfortunately the nature of this defect is that getting it is purely chance based, but being in a large squad will increase your chance of getting it.
I have another patch going out Monday which will hopefully work around the issue. |

If you uncheck/check anything in the queue, make sure you exit the battlefinder. If you don't and dive right into a match. BUG! |

I've found that throwing your PS3 out the nearest window works just fine.

Is this similar to what I've experienced? I'm not in a squad, and I'll go to the battle finder and try and find a match. Instead of the "waiting for deployment" message, the screen will blink and "reset." However, the "team" tab now appears in the right side of the screen, as though I'm going into battle. In fact, I can even hear other players on their mics...as they enter the battle! I'm still stuck in my little room. I then log out and try one of my alts...same thing. Team tab is still displayed, and any attempt at getting into a match results in the server searching for a game, then blinking and doing nothing. Yesterday, the latest time this happened to me, I even quit the game and restarted it...only to be stuck with the same problem. It was only after I deactivitated/reactivitated voice in the team tab--followed by turning the "push to talk" function on and then off again--that I was able to resume playing. Maybe that can help someone? |

You have to add this: While searching for battle you have to make a 180-¦degree counterclockwise with your character. (You turned the wrong direction if you get a message from Scotty). When the deployment-message appears you have to move as quickly as you can from the left to the right. If the the deployment takes longer than 7seconds (and this is important!) you have to change left/right to forward/backwards.
I never failed to get in a battle doing is.
PS: It's important to sync your movements if you are squading up.

That bit about backing out of every menu has been disproved.
We took a chance and tested it. We had one of every type of menu open (Updates, Chat Window, Market, Skill Tree, Etc) and deployed into battle. We all got in and no one was left behind. It may have been a fluke, but we did it 3 times and it had no effect on our deployment.
Further testing required?
In any case, I hope this gets fixed soon. It can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes, even though it is a rarer occurance than it first was when 1.4 was implemented. Whatever has been done so far has seemed to help a bit. |

Get everyone in squad to go to fittings and load up a fitting, all squad members should stay on the fitting screen while squad leader deploys, DO NOT PRESS CIRCLE. This definitely works, we've had over 50 successful deploys and full Faction Warfare team. Pass it on. |

1. Announce "Close menus" 2. Tell everyone you are going to queue (NO ONE TOUCH ANYTHING) 3. Everyone confirms 'waiting for deployment'
-if not then drop squad and wait to be picked up next match
4.NO ONE TOUCH ANYTHING TILL WE ARE OUT OF THE BARGE
Rinse & Repeat as needed
Im willing to bet half the problem is people accidently backing out of matches while doing other things. Let me be more specific. I have gotten caught with menus open before and missed the match. Then once I made sure not to hit the button once too many times and got them closed without backing out of the match. This was with "waiting for deployment" posted. So, at least some of the time I think people are backing out while trying to close windows. This why the SL needs to ask for closed windows..it prevents that factor. Communication saves time, time is clones, clones are money. |
