Hmm all the hate for the aiming vis whatever control method, for the record I have turned off aim assist and have no problems aiming with a DS3, funny how someone mentioned SKYRIM where that was never an issue for me either |

Balance and Improvement, will be really hard to achieve while these two keep living on the same game (DS and kbm). Also mark these words: "No beast can haz two masters"; but have it your way CCP, have your fu***** mess your way [:rollol:]
I going to tell you a little story: One day I logged into Dust, went into some skirmish and from nowhere raspberry appeared, he killed my standard AV fit from one headshot with a Scrambler, GÇ£cool headshot with that precious weaponGÇ¥ I thought, I respawn with another fit with 500HP and yes I encounter him again and bang headshot, bang, I respawn again, same fit, only thing was.. he was closer this time, bang, headshot. No more than 3 minutes have passed since our first encounter, and that situation make me realize the first sentence of this post of mine.
Not against, but know this fellas: "there's nowhere to go but up if you're down" then that sentence equals to "thereGÇÖs nowhere to go but AR if you want to enjoy Dust" and "You wanna be supadupa in Dust514? then go Kb/M" (well, before the super AA lol) |

So racing games could also not have great stick and wheel support? Games like Forza have evolved to a point where sticks aren't just playable and fun, but even vaguely competitive. Chiefly thanks to something called steering assist, which adjusts your steering sensitivity based on your current speed. Sounds familiar?
Now, unlike steering wheels, keyboard and mouse are not built for shooters, they are built for spreadsheets. Even though I love playing with the mouse, and I don't want CCP to either remove or gimp mouse controls, if the time ever comes that sticks are superior due to aim assist, I will not complain. I will then decide whether I stick with the mouse or try to get some skills with sticks.
I can totally understand if stick users are a bit miffed about aim assist, since it takes away from their hard earned manual aiming skills, but mouse users complaining about aim assist is truly pathetic in my view. |

Come on lady, we are in a FPS not some driving simulator.. things totallly different, inputs on driving sims don't take in count precision.
Aim assist, as so many have said, is usual on console cuz the "sticks" (are called analogs btw) aren't precise enough, I'm pro AA but I laugh at the idea of CCP saying that because of it: mouse and the "sticks" are on equal grounds, especially if they need to make the AA so frickin strong to the point where I donGÇÖt feel like some kills are deserved, to me, even though I have the AA off.
My point is: doesn't matter how much CCP struggles to have balance they might never deliver it cuz in some ways, or in one form or another, people having different inputs and different fits can benefit from a special setup; lets say Mouse benefits in the long run from Scrambler pistols making them the FOTM for kbm users, then CCP will need to tone it down to the ground and it will require time to fix, consumig time for other things, probably would hurt Dualshock players, affect balance overall, change the battlegrounds once more, and so on.. In resume, yes having two masters is a problem in this case.
Oh, and the MoveGun ain't a problem because of its shi******* overall, in almost any game; but don't believe me if you'd like, just ask anyone who spent money on that dust accumulator.
But as I said: we are playing their mess, and we like this (soon to become) "niche game".
Hehe.. niche.. oh M.A.G. T-T |

?? Have you ever played a driving simulation?
It's exactly the same situation, and while the two input methods will never be entirely equal, it's proof that you can in fact have two masters and do just fine. Even if the best racers still use wheels, it's not like you can't play quite decently with sticks. |

According to Insomniac, the PS Move was shown to be notably superior to the regular SixAxis/DualShock3 in several trials and in online-play. You might not like it, and might not be competent with it, but it IS quite powerful. |
