Get good?

I slice through every suit no matter how much armor and shield they have because I am "good". Now when I get insta killed by a sniper rifle, nova knives, grenades... there's really nothing I can do about it. The person that killed me obviously took advantage of my situation to get a kill.

Now when I run into the same shield tanked/armor tanked/assault/heavy/scout that I normally do, and all of a sudden get out DPS'd by some militia assault rifle vs my high level skills, there's obviously something wrong.

It's not my health, I have over 800 ehp. It's not my damage, since I can kill anyone else with a different weapon easier. And it's not like I got snuck up from behind since I was the one who attracted their attention in the first place.

It's the freaking rifle, the most annoying, cheap, unbalanced weapon in any game I have ever played.

Get good? I am good. I score an average of 2500 wp per match. AVERAGE. If I run with a good squad that number goes up and over 3.5k.

And guess what? I don't have to use an OP weapon to do so. I didn't give in to the caldari logi, I didn't give in to the Duvolle Tac, I didn't give in to the flaylock or contact grenades, and I don't plan on ever using your stupid Assault Rifle.

In DUST now AR is a bullet hose, trump-all win button that dominates even in situations where it should not - e.g: in CQC. In MAG you woulda been long dead to a knife with AR in CQC - the story is quite different in Dust. This is not about AR users vs non-AR users and who's better. It's an argument about ppl who use multiple different weapons on the same character and therefore can compare.

Yeah it's OP, why go to a specialized weapon when theres one that covers EVERYTHING, not to an great extent but to a good extent when it should only be average at best. It takes more SP to level up other weapons therefor by default sorry, they should be MUCH better than the AR.

Im so sorry, I never realised a weapon that dealth 1400 dmg in 4 secs over 30m with minimal falloff damage, unbelievable accuracy and absolutely no kick for 1.2 secs of firing wasn't op!!
