To Smots, I wasn't in MAG, but on the very rare occasions I do talk **** in DUST, I make damn sure I back it up. If you have come across me in game you would surely remember it.

I'm not chest pounding, I simply stated a fact. We don't go stomping randoms. Just ask KEQ about the beating they received from us today. We don't need 2 squads to win against randoms. Quote me where I said that.

@ ANON, do you really think having your buddy come on the forums to "back up your story" really lends it any more creedence in the public eye? If you do, you are fooling yourself.

AR has been grossly OP or on par with FG and MD through all the different patches but it has never been UP. Right now it's again back in that over the top OP phase. No other weapon comes close. Scrambler rifle not counting as it's just a version of AR. FG is decent and it holds #2 spot.

All other weapons are about right now except for PC - it used to be challenging but in this build it's plain broken because of how OP autofire weapons have become. And I am not sure about SG - I have not used it recently.


AR needs a hard nerf or AA needs to be nerfed into the ground or both, the way things are right now is not working. MD needs AoE reduction and an increase in damage w/in the radius. PC needs to address that slow projectile speed and it would be ok again. Those are my main points for the weapon balance this build.

Its funny because ,except for Apophis Xxx,only remember i respect from SoF(Because he keeps pushing even if he dies 10+ per game), Most Sound of freedom players get stomped by randoms most of the time,unless they are running in full squads.

Actually this happens to almost every core Corp.UMC,STB,OH,Inf4mous,you name them.

But this only proves TEAMWORK is the key.
So complaining a corp wins just beacause they were in a full squad is a little weak dont you think?
Not even I use that as an excuse:

And This comes from a player that has been playing SOLO for the last 2 months and now owns a clan with 4 friends that have K-D ratio of 0.30 LOL.(so even while ''stomping'' as a full squad,we are still a bunch of randoms....)

So Ive been wondering, did you steal the Ultramarine Corps name from Games Wrokshop or DC Comics? Either way an ultramarine is ALWAYS a blueberrie.

Im not going to bash your corp, I have seen some good players with your tags in games. I really hope you do start with us when / if you start participating in PC, it will be interesting to post some videos up online of how well you do in that match.

As for the AR, STFU anon it is OP now go download the demo for Diablo III and go play it for a while before coming back to chew me out. Each build the weapons get closer to what I would consider a "balanced" build, that being sait one thing or another ends up going squiffie and one gun becomes OP. This build it is THE AR & ScR the other weapons for the most part fall in line with their intended role and intended range.

It's no use in trying to have these players to stop crying about an AR being OP. Hey, crybabies! How about going to MAG and learn how to strafe and shoot an AR. Most of the better players here that dominate are from MAG. So, go there and try to get better before the server shuts down for good!!. This game should not revolve around crying unskilled players. If you can't keep up, quit the game and go play something that is within your skill level. Like Mario or something. You crybabies are the very people that is ruining this game. It makes me wonder of the type of person they are outside of this game that cries on here. BOO HOO HOOO! I can't kill nobody!! I die too soon by them using an AR! I'm not sure if the AR needs a nerf but at the moment they've gone from the most effective weapon overall to straight up beastmode. Then again, lasers and SCRs have also gotten a lot more effective. So I think it has more to do with aim assist making a comeback than the weapons themselves.

Funny how when someone thinks of shedding a tear over niche weapons and tanks, I see every last one of you ******* who are defending the AR right now joining in on the circle jerk but when someone brings up the AR you want to stop the nerfing. Pathetic.

It is due for a nerf. If you feel otherwise, then you 'need your crutch', as you said to those with tanks and lasers in chrome, flaylocks in 1.2, mass drivers and forgers in 1.3....etc. Your gun is overpowered. Deal with it.

Shut up illuminati. This is long overdue. The AR has been OP since closed beta. Its time for its turn against the nerf sledge.

OK so i have advanced or higher in most weapons aside from side arms. Im sorry to those who disagree but the ARs DO need a nerf. They should not be able to outgun a proto hmg at close range (especially since assault suits do not have as much ehp), nor should they be SO darn accurate at over 150m away. Plus i have to say the new maps have not helped heavies in any way :(
