So as previously stated you 369.6 dps with out any skills or damage mods, now this already out dps's the mass driver by a magnitude of 3, well 3.4 to be exact, and it has one of the highest damage per mag values of any weapon at 1,476, it even does more damage than I sniper rifle, would you like me to keep going?

I wonder if someone were going to call for a truce on weapons nerfs, would people actually band together against people bithcing something's op? Anyone that uses pure DPS as their only example to show whether something is OP or UP are just grasping at straws. For any weapon to hit their pure DPS potential every round needs to hit their target. It would be safe to say that 90% of the time this does not happen. If I run across a player that can land every shot that is fired on me then I deserve to die no matter what the weapon is.

I feel my brain cells decrease every time I go on this forum for some reason. Everyone complaining needs to calm down about "OP" this "Nerf" that. I'm personally not on any side of this mini world war but math doesn't calculate a players skill. A new player is not going to kill a heavy in 3 seconds with a militia assault rifle. But if you want to "Nerf" it logically remove sharpshooter, no other gun has it besides (smg).

Also from what I heard 1.5 is going to Nerf the blasters (as it should be called) range to make it more close quarters oriented anyways.

I've come across your corp many times in Dust and in MAG. In both games you all talk a better game than you played. I've had many 20+ and 30+ kill games against your Corp. I find it actually funny that you feel the need to chest pound stomping out randoms with 2 full squads of your corp. If you need 2 squads to win against randoms then your corp is not as skilled as you think

AR has been grossly OP or on par with FG and MD through all the different patches but it has never been UP. Right now it's again back in that over the top OP phase. No other weapon comes close. Scrambler rifle not counting as it's just a version of AR. FG is decent and it holds #2 spot.

All other weapons are about right now except for PC - it used to be challenging but in this build it's plain broken because of how OP autofire weapons have become. And I am not sure about SG - I have not used it recently.


AR needs a hard nerf or AA needs to be nerfed into the ground or both, the way things are right now is not working. MD needs AoE reduction and an increase in damage w/in the radius. PC needs to address that slow projectile speed and it would be ok again. Those are my main points for the weapon balance this build.

So Ive been wondering, did you steal the Ultramarine Corps name from Games Wrokshop or DC Comics? Either way an ultramarine is ALWAYS a blueberrie.

Im not going to bash your corp, I have seen some good players with your tags in games. I really hope you do start with us when / if you start participating in PC, it will be interesting to post some videos up online of how well you do in that match.

As for the AR, STFU anon it is OP now go download the demo for Diablo III and go play it for a while before coming back to chew me out. Each build the weapons get closer to what I would consider a "balanced" build, that being sait one thing or another ends up going squiffie and one gun becomes OP. This build it is THE AR & ScR the other weapons for the most part fall in line with their intended role and intended range.

Its funny because ,except for Apophis Xxx,only remember i respect from SoF(Because he keeps pushing even if he dies 10+ per game), Most Sound of freedom players get stomped by randoms most of the time,unless they are running in full squads.

Actually this happens to almost every core Corp.UMC,STB,OH,Inf4mous,you name them.

But this only proves TEAMWORK is the key.

It's no use in trying to have these players to stop crying about an AR being OP. Hey, crybabies! How about going to MAG and learn how to strafe and shoot an AR. Most of the better players here that dominate are from MAG. So, go there and try to get better before the server shuts down for good!!. This game should not revolve around crying unskilled players. I'm not sure if the AR needs a nerf but at the moment they've gone from the most effective weapon overall to straight up beastmode. Then again, lasers and SCRs have also gotten a lot more effective. So I think it has more to do with aim assist making a comeback than the weapons themselves.

OK so i have advanced or higher in most weapons aside from side arms. Im sorry to those who disagree but the ARs DO need a nerf. They should not be able to outgun a proto hmg at close range (especially since assault suits do not have as much ehp), nor should they be SO darn accurate at over 150m away. Plus i have to say the new maps have not helped heavies in any way :(

- Bring back dancing scouts
- Bring back mike tyson
- Make the nanites useless again
- Take away any form of bonuses from AR skill tree

The true AR users can still kick some serious behinds with all of those present
