An interesting topic I haven't seen brought up and I thought would be good to sample the community on was Map size.
The new maps introduced are MUCH larger than the already large maps from 1.3... and I was wondering about community feed back? Do you think that they are too big? Should be get bigger maps? Smaller? Or are these sizes just right?
My personal experience is that the new maps, while fun in some circumstances, are much too large... I spend more than 3/4 the time running from location to location and really only see a hand full of engagements during any given skirmish. Last night I even had a round where I only saw 1 engageable enemy the whole map (And not for lack of trying, I lost 2 dropships trying to get from 1 location to the next) I get that they want scale to be a thing, but honestly I feel like games on those maps are less FPS and more 'look at these wonderful structures we've textured'...
not sure if I'm alone here but feedback would be good.

my worry is that without a larger player count, it will cause games to be boring... If that isn't slated for the near furture, then I would consider reevalueating map sizes. |

We just need more players for those larger maps. The current matches are 16v16, but once the battle is started, there is usually only 5-8 people alive and running around at any one time. Kinda hard to hold multiple objectives like that. |

Because they can.
They clearly are able to increase the size of the map without having any particular issues. None that I've noticed yet anyway.
If they increased the player count though peoples' PS3s would probably start exploding. Especially if all the players were in the same location. |

no big maps good I ******* hate always being in a meat grinder. the current set up of two close together and a bunch spread out is the **** course I'm a scout....... but still always having a meat grinder sucks its nice to have things mixed up a little.
and if you don't wolf pack it shouldn't be too much of an issue. |

When you're armour tanking though, that distance is ridiculous to cross without the speed from the scout suit. |
