Absolutely incorrect. Assault Rifle's optimal range: 38m Laser Rifles's optimal range: 66-85m Even the Duvolle Tactical has inferior optimal range than the basic Laser Rifle (65m)
It might have a worse optimal, but the AR doesn't need to be in it's optimal to have a higher DPS than the LR. Neither does the DuvTac, which has a scope allowing for more precision. |

The AScR has somewhat comparable numbers to the AR on paper, but not in practice. The AR has less dispersion, less kick, less armor penalty, less falloff penalty, no overheat, and bigger clips with faster reloads, all adding up to better DPS at all ranges. |

There you go a real answer, I know they still over heat but that wasn't the problem, the most problem are the kick made ASCR impossible to fight at long range I hope Ccp add sharpshooter skill tree for us
They need to just remove Sharpshooter entirely. The original sharpshooter broke the game in half, and the new one is just exacerbating the superiority of the AR. If the SMG did just a tad more damage per shot, we'd probably be feeling the same hate there, we might even now due to the Armored Resurgence(tm) |
