And yes I would gladly give up a high or low slot to be able to fit proto equipment and a proto gun again. Oh and yes I have cpu and pg to 5 and usually still have to throw a basic cpu ext at it so u may aswell take one of my low slots.

I would need to use CPU enhancer anyway taking a low slot even if I had 390 back, but instead of it being basic, it is enhanced. PG is the biggest problem-child I have found, I usually have CPU to spare.

Why would you want to weigh yourself down that much?Two complex reactive plates, complex repper, complex shield regulator, complex shield energizer, 2 complex shield extenders, then whatever else.

With more CPU, you'd be able to stack plates and extenders in all of those slots and get a ludicrous amount of EHP - I suspect you could quite easily break 1,000 whilst maintaining a decent regen rate. The Gallente logistics CAN achieve those numbers as well, but it's more armour based so it comes at the cost of more speed and the regeneration is generally weaker unless you weaken that tank to fit armour repairers.

The CPU nerf doesn't change that, cal logis can still dual tank just fine. They just can't run proto equipment while shield tanking anymore. To the OP: Get electronics 5 and a complex CPU modules. That 35% more CPU than you are currently running with level 3 and enhanced. It sucks but c'est la vie.

Lrn2logi. Your suit was designed as a versatility class, maybe if you used it as one you would be doing better with it now. If you wanted to be a run and gun assault you should have put points into those suits instead. You chose to skill into a suit that had an unfair advantage at the time, and now you get to live with the consequences. End of discussion.

I am running a Proto Cal Logi with Complex Extenders, Duvolle, and ADV equipment. Or I'll trade in the Duvolle for a GEK and run Proto everything else. Sometimes I have to run a CPU module. So what. The fittings are supposed to be a tight "fit". Before it was entirely tooooooo easy to fit the Cal Logi. Now you actually have to work at it....

And now it also makes sense to skill all the skills which reduce CPU and PG need. My only Protosuit is a Caldari Logi Suit btw.

Every time I ran into a caldari logi post uprsising they were a shield tanked assault with a duvolle tac rifle. Everyone knew which suit and which weapon would be the most OP, so they chose to skill into that. Every time I ran into a Japanese corp, their ENTIRE squad was running the proto caldari logistics suit. It was a nightmare trying to go against them. If they were using them for the versatility that a logistics suit has to offer, then I would be perfectly fine with it. Maybe see a guy with stacked armor plates and damage mods with a laser, or maybe a super shield recharge logi with a mass driver. No, it was the same suit, same setup, same weapon, over and over and over again. Other players that I knew who were full on assault players before the update chose this suit because it was going to be the best assault suit, even better than the actual assault suits. As a logi, I saw this and decided against the caldari logistics. I was indecisive between caldari and minmatar logi, but I knew that everyone would be running caldari so it was obvious that it would eventually get nerfed.

The entirety of Dust's lifespan to fix armor/shield balance? It is very nice to know there is a decent balance now though, I wish it existed back in the day of type-1/A-Series/Vk.0 suits though, that would have been a lot of fun. =/

(High & Low powered) This is 1 more than the other logis,2 more than assaults,3 more than amarr assault, and at least 4+ than the rest of the suits. This is , OF COURSE intended for the cal logi player to use that extra slot to boost EITHER THEIR CPU or PG ,as needed. I wouldnt be against Cal Logis getting back their original CPU.But then you would have to loose one low powered slot.....

High are either more damage or better shields, both are consistent and constant boosts. All the Low Slot stuff is very situational except armor, like a hacking module is useless in Ambush or if you just don't hack, the Passive Scanners are borked or so I hear, the Profile Dampeners are only really good on Scouts and Snipers, etc. We need more reason to fit these other modules, or for there to be other modules that we would see reason to fit. Also, the Logi help is pretty easy to come by when at least a third of the playerbase runs CalLogi, have to fill the Equip slots with something...

Though I would like a better bonus than regulation (which I know is coming) and 1 extra equipment slot would be dope but not expected. edit: As a matter of fact make the give all the Logis a 23% bonus to equipment and an extra slot and give Gallente something else. They should be able to carry all that ****.

They are still easy mode, took my Caldari logi alt out for a spin today and went 12/2 with 2300 WP. Running advanced with 3 enhanced shield extenders, 2 basic plates, standard assault rifle, Allotek nanohives with standard repair tool and nanate injector. Shields are still better than armor because of how fast they come back.
