There have been times I have taken a shot and seen what appears to be a distortion or disruption in the enemies shields, the same i see when i land a hit. A few of the times this has happened my reticle has indicated a hit and yet no damage is dealt. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on sniper rifles or any other weapon. |

Yes, it is with us(snipers) for a while now. |

usually this means you hit an enemy controlled infrastructure like a supply depot, null cannon, or vehicle.
even if you can clearly see the target, the hit box of the object is in the way. |

Crappy aim?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm sure your aim is fine.
I snipe and I notice this also. It is quite frustrating.

I do know about hitting enemy structures and it is just as frustrating, i am referring to open area shots when its single enemy/ open field no structures and you see the hit yet no damage. |

When playing recently I've been doing more snipering. Totally noticed this happening, often without reason. |

This seems to be happening with all the weapons, but you notice it best with sniper rifles. More of it here: [BUG] Hit detection in general (apparently) |

This really needs to be fixed. If you miss as a scout, you usually end up dead. Especially with the cramped new maps, where it's very hard to keep distance, our saving grace.
Last week I landed a (charged!) headshot on a merc. Blue flash, no damage. He started dashing towards me in a straight line, so I could land 3 more shots (yes, it was quite the distance). More flashing, a little bit of damage, and I snuffed it in the end. |

eh if it's happening to me I must of become oblivious to me.
I might have been ignoring it for so long I don't notice it anymore. |

This is a quite-noticeable issue with all semi-auto weapons ... I noticed it on my TAR and others have said the standard ScR has similar issues. |
