I was thinking, how nice would it be if you could well, shoot from in a vehicle with your equipped weapon or rep the vehicles armour with a armour rep from inside.
1. This would make sitting in a drop-ship/LAV way more fun, as you could shoot the heck outta the enemy when your entering/exiting a hot zone.
2.You won't have to wait for those dam repairers to kick in (If your in LAV/drop-ship) and you could have a squad ate rep it for you.
3.This could open a whole new way of customising your vehicle as you could leave things out that otherwise players would have to equipped to their vehicle.
4.This would open new ways of squads to operate. |

Yea I like this idea...but it has to be a little realistic. For instance, I can't imagine a heavy charging up a forge gun while he sits in the passenger seat. It would automatically switch him to his secondary weapon, like a SMG. Something small and manageable. This way it eliminates Murder Taxi II.
But yea, I often think "why can't I shoot" whenever I get in the passenger seat. I don't like feeling like dead weight and want to contribute while one drives and the other guns.
Hopefully CCP will consider this... |

Not only do they **** up almost constantly when it comes down to the wire, but they never leave the damn tank, and giving away the position of the vehicle itself. |

a player sitting in a passenger seat using a rep tool in a dropship is no different than tanks having a Logi follow them around on the ground.
Except that currently one can happen. If the DS allowed this, passengers can still get shot out, but they're pretty tied up in there to be doing anything else useful |

Good luck shooting in a straight line.
Hell, you might end up shooting the dropship like the small rails and sometimes missiles do. |

There was a mechanic issue with this, CCP still trying to work it out. Think it has to do with the ownership of the projectile. Like how missile turrets used to fire, but them missile would track along with the movement of the vehicle (as opposed to a straight line from the spawn point.) |

yeah sure, but only if its side arms. That's the only way to make it balanced. Unless you think mass driver assault dropship would be fun to fight |
