I still beat down noobs like a bad habit. I don't see what all the fuss is. I even talked to some kb/m guys who say the new mouse controls are "twitchier." Kb/m and ds3 both got buffs. So what's the issue? Edited for grammer I am guessing you havent noticed the fact that you dont have to bother following the enemy yourself when its on....it will follow them enough for you to kill them. I do about the same as well....but thats because I had to change up my tactics now that almost everyone can actually track my character.....no more running into rooms of 5 guys and dodging around in and out to take them all down since they cant aim.

They aren't harder, its just that they don't have the ALWAYS HITTING advantage over every other gun anymore. I've had to adapt and stack damage mods to keep my baby competitive and it defenitley works. I can still use the fear factor of hitting with more than 150 damage with splash to my advantage in CQC. It's truly terrifying. Hahaha.
When the AR gets that 1.5 range nerf, I think every weapon will be pretty well balanced. Flaylock needs a buff, though. Nobody uses it anymore. |

I love the MD now. It's what it should be which is area of denial. Popping those things into a hot area to catch the unwary or push them back is what a grenade launcher is supposed to do. |

I love how people claim that the current build is some kind of weapon balance sweet spot when TTK is so ridiculously fast with ARs that even a noob with less than 1 mil SP and a militia AR is more deadly than a 20 mil SP proto bear with a Freedom MD. The HP increase for armor tankers was the only change that should have occurred with 1.4. This auto aim garbage has turned this beautifully diverse game where character development, gear, and specialization mattered into a Tom Clancy tactical FPS where ARs wreck everyone in the blink of an eye.
This game was really close to finding a nice balance for everyone. So much for that! |

It should be good for helping finishing off players behind cover, but definitely is underpowered at close range compared to before. sorry for you but thats entirely wrong, the MD works best against players behind cover, i dont know why you think it wouldnt, my MD still has over 8m splash and my flux have 7.2m, also most players are running out into the open because they think LEL I HAVE SO MUCH HP only to die to everyone ever also seeing as the aim assist only works well at medium range the MD is still the best at close range |

Sniper, AR, Scr, HMG, SMG, scr pistol, shotgun, blasters.....are all hit scan weapons MDs, flaylock, plasma cannon (LOL), and forge guns are all AOE weapons Melee is glitched so you can do 1500-2000 dmg in less than a second........ At this state based on your criteria what exactly is a pro weapon that takes skill to use? If you say knife then thats not truly pro its situational....I dont care how good you are not even regynum can charge at 2 people in an open field with a knife and expect to kill them. (with current aim assist) plazmah is skillz |

The MD has found its perfect place in the battlefield without even getting nerfed (thank hit detection and aim assist). This is the first time something similar happens in this game and I call it a miracle.
It might not take much skill to use it in CQC (much more at medium range), but it takes intelligence to use it effectively and flank or suppress multiple enemies.
The skill stays in "how" you use the Mass Driver, now. It's a support weapon for smart and evil guys. No more place for mad bombers. Use your brain along your MD or just die. |

I played a guy today who simply owned with one. I sent him mail telling him he was a monster. He was good. He was soloing with it and dominated. It was a great match even though we lost. I think he was Team Player. |

I use the " jerk" to my advantage wen ever my adversary's gunfire is getting a bit too close for comfort. It's effect is a bit reduced but it is still there. |

Because of aim assist now that aim assist is in the game mass drivers aren't as good so all the op mass driver users switched to duvolles. that's how these people work they drive around in lavs running people over in a cal logi suit with a flux and mass driver now that aim assist in in they switch to duvolles. they prolly ran contact grenades until they got nerfed as well. |

I'm so glad my favorite weapon isn't FOTM anymore.
Now auto-aim AR's are the new hotness. I'd like CCP to tweak it down A LITTLE BIT but not too much. I don't want a bunch of brainless chimps going back to my MD. |
