Instead of actual zombies, you could have drones whose AI has become corrupt, and they've started hunting people. And to be really awesome, they could fly, and look kind of like a cross between insects and the squid-robot things from The Matrix. I even have an idea for a name: Rogue Drones. What do you guys think? Brilliant, right?
