I'm really bored and would like to make things interesting in this game. So, I am offering 2 million ISK to the first person who can kill a developer in DUST 514.
Rules:
1) You must post proof on this forum. (Screenshots or Video recordings are preferred)
2) NO EXPLOITS OR GLITCHES!!!!
3) In case you don't have proof, then the dev has to confirm that you killed him (or her)
4) That "proof" must also include what weapon was used
4)Have fun. It is a game ya know. 
*I'll through in an extra 500,000 ISK if it is a melee kill. (Nova Knives don't count)

Why the hec don't nova knives count?
It's like HARD CORE mode....

we had to kill devs in the closed beta for an event and got quafe suits. it was called the quafe event. hope this helped |

Devs being known in-game opens up a large can of worms. They'd get harassed in-game, treated differently in general, people would use their actions in game as evidence of CCP's preferred manner of play, there would be a certain tier of corp known as "a corp with a dev in it", and if there wasn't outright cheating, there would at least be the accusation that such and such dev used his position to help his corp/alliance/etc.
If their "civilian" characters get outed, they either get biomassed or I think the rough equivalent of witsec protection: Name and history changed.
These sorts of policies exist in CCP due to the experience they've had with these problems on the EVE side. |
