Why would that be a surprise? Like I said I don't care about my personal stats.
Just today I was solo in a Skirmish with a squad on each team, the better squad was on the other side though so we lost. I went 38-7 with 3k WP and generally had a fun match.
Then the next match there were again squads on each team, so I thought it would be a good match again. I head to a middle letter and grab it, but within a minute half the other team is on top of me with no teammates in sight. I die and see that while my team did grab our closest letter there were only one guy heading towards the letter I was at. No other teammates were on their way to any of the other letters either, so I quit and found a better match because that particular match would just end up being a boring 20 minute grindfest. |

Toy, you use kb/m?
I remember the days in Codex when we used to always run across eachother playing solo in ambush, those were fun times. 
Although you having kb/m while I used a DS3, no wonder I lost many of those 1v1's with you! lol. |

i admit im nothing with a ds3. i come from a pc background been playing fps for 20 years. my pc went bust the same time dust was available if you got a merc pack, never considered to fix my pc. i just cant play a fps with out a kb/m i wouldent be playing dust if i couldent. and well now i cant so some computershop near me will get the honor to revieve my pc 
i left eve with a bitter taste in my mouth i dont wonna do the same with dust but im close.

Do you agree that earlier, during the beta atleast, KBM was superior in terms of aiming with a somewhat reduced fluidity to general movement?
Atleast we're now rid of the "stay in the same spot while strafing superfast from siden to side" exploit that many KBM players have been abusing since KBM was introduced to Dust.

I never picked up the controller before today so i can't really say how far the DS3 got buffed and i started playing in chromosone so i cant say how it was during closed beta.
But what i can say is that i am a person that is terribly affected by framerates, if i play with low framerates my performance drops like a brick , Madlax wich i team up with is not affected by low frame rates and it has to do with your brain filling in the gaps, my brain doesnt fill in gaps very well, now when i play on my PC i make sure i have a solid 100 FPS, here on Dust we have variable FPS but nothing above 30, in chromo i doubt we had much of anything above 15 FPS.
Now how mouse works is that you drag or jerk the screen around to get to the point where you want to stop and aim, any interuption or stutter and you swing passed your intented target or stop short. With a DS3 you push your aim towards the target and the speed is capped probably at the point before FPS issues arise and a solid FPS isnt such a big deal.
In chromosone i think the hit detection was so broken that it didnt matter what you were using as your control type, but from 1.2 to 1.3 KBM got allot more worse then it was at 1.1 and i guess that most DS3 users don't strafe allot while KBM users are always strafing around, so during Chromosone we had the advantage of our hitboxes being more out of place then the DS3 users, but KBM aiming has never been on par with how it works on a PC.
Ive never had any issues with the guys you discribe that use KBM, ive had far more issues with good DS3 players, like you, 13ear, Askull Legend to name a few, though 13ear sends me Tearmails from time to time and ussually quits after 2 deaths.
While if i met Deranged Disaster or other KBM people on the field it was always a 50/50 chance of either of us dying, but our fights would either involve unloading 2-3 clips into each other or dropping dead before you could say Da-Fuq...
During 1.2 KBM got so f*cked over that i had to retire, tried again in 1.3 and still had to stay retired now in 1.4 i feel its back to chromosone level but with better FPS and hit detection overall.
All i know is that i have a whole lot less then my 90% accuracy i normally have and that is against targets that strafe faster then when we could strafe in 1.3, i dont have allot of movies of me playing but i made one on APB R because a few guys in my clan wanted to see me actually never miss a round every fight and were thinking i was using an Aimbot, like every 4-6 people an hour in that game. So i made one, click here and watch it, i dont make movies to brag and i cant record on PS3 but thats how i normally play and for the life of me i can't get near 40% of that here in Dust when i use KBM and if you dont believe thats actually me, i can log on my character there.
But if i went back and played a match today, like ive done a couple of times now i can only say that my near perfect aim i had is completely ruined because of playing Dust.
We can debate this back and fourth, 24/7 but i should not be instantly better when i use a DS3 for the first time over KBM.

Thanks, i wish i could port that gungame over to my dust merc :), maybe in 2.0...
Yeah went and watched it, i rofled quite a few times those kills are quite hilarious and then i remembered the times you pulled a grenade on me.... :)
