What's the point in having skill shot weapons or any sort of gun game ability if aim assist is there providing an easy-kill for everyone. I don't like to rant, but this game has become an assault rifle only type game now that aim assist is back, the balancing of weapons has become so distorted now that winning in a firefight comes down to just having the bigger gun with more hp.
I am a good shot with an assault rifle, I was great at outflanking and overtaking my opponents with simple user skill and standard gear, but I can no longer say that I can outgun my opponents simply because we both hit almost every bullet at nearly every range, outgunning means just having the bigger gun now.
This game attracted me because of the learning curve and player skill that was required to beat your opponents, matches have become boring and unattractive now that killing has been made easy. The assault rifle is now the golden weapon and semi-auto weapons are now overpowered in CQC.
I have been with this game for a long time now and I would hate to see it turn into another generic RPG where better gear = guaranteed win. Please bring back the ability for people with reflexes and good coordination to have an advantage once again. |

High tier gear should only be effective in skilled hands. New players are not going to want to play this game if getting better gear is just the equivalent of leveling up in pokemon, if killing is an end then player skill should be the means to that end, not sp ground gear. Never heard of you, so I am going to assume your just bad Says the player with the SP to proto in 4 suits. When you don't have 50 districts to fund proto suits it becomes pretty difficult to cope with the new build, any FPS that takes the skill out of shooting a gun is either a beta or CoD. |

I was testing lasers.
Saw a guy 50+ mts away.
Pressed R1.
The laser followed him even if he was running in zig zag
He Died
I just pressed R1.
Quitted Dust started playing Dark souls. That part was fun.... I enjoy knowing that I have to work for my kills. Aim assist is for children and CoD monkeys. |

Adaptability, flanking tactics, strafing, outsmarting, whatever you want to call it it's the thing that allows your FPS experience to trump someone else's. It feels now like I can't stay one step ahead of my enemy unless I use proto, which I can't afford 24/7 |
