Between the invisibility of the user, and the reduced time to dump a whole mag, swarms have now reached epic porpotions of stupidity.
Beyond all that, you can't see the missiles in flight, you cannot get a proper hit marker on them still when attacked from the vertical.
If you had not buffed the crap out of nitrous, there would be literally no hope for getting away from any swarmer. Even with it your odds are slim.
So there is zero point in running a blaster or missile fit anymore, just railgunning.
Thanks for taking the last bit of interest out of vehicle operation, it is now pointless to run an armor tank. And since shield tanks are absolutely garbage at keeping people away from them, there is now no close support tank option. Only thing left is long distance support, which can't be done because the engine can't handle drawing enemies at that distance.

As it stands now, the only way a swarmer is going to be a threat to you is if he's at high altitude with a nanohive. Otherwise, he can't use a swarm and still get around the battlefield and be potent.
So swarms were buffed, AND nerfed at the same time. Give yourself some time to adapt, see how you manage after a few weeks.
To the bolded:
Every single map has golden spots for a swarmer with hives. Several of them, and from the early looks at the new maps, they have literally dozens of places where a single swarmer with a hive will be able to completely close down huge portions of the map. That is aside from the fact that the new SI is a death trap for tanks.
All that would be fine and good if they could be seen, but they cannot. Swarms and their users are even less visible in the vehicle than outside of it.
So here we have a weapon that can be devastating in a proper position, that is invisible when fired, and does not consistently inform proper direction on the hitmarker. It also has enough range to be able to cover the heart of every battlefield.
A couple more days of this crap and CCP can keep 1.5. At this point I am getting convinced that creating a reasonably balanced vehicle infantry relationship is beyond them as programmers and designers.
