So an AV scrub is complaining that his swarms were unable to defeat a tank in time even though he can now mag dump the suckers?
Yeah, I don't care. |

OP said AV takes skill.
That is rich.
This thread is a massive troll. |

So do you endorse teleporting out of battle?
The driver didn't teleport.
He was still around for you to kill. I don't see why you are complaining.
Oh thats right, you wanted to fatten your wallet because your autolocking, target tracking rocket launcher should trump everything.
Go play in traffic. |

My my, such venom.
My Manually locking, target tracking rocket launcher is not the problem here. It is the teleporting tanks. For that matter, the driver did teleport, out of his tank. I wasn't RIGHT UP ON the tank, and he was hiding behind it. I don't see why I have to reiterate this to every hypersensitive HAV 'pilot' who bothers to come by.
For that matter, I did play in traffic. Then the traffic dissolved into dust and the driver pulled out an Assault Rifle.
Your complaint about him having enough time to recall his tank is not a critique of gameplay mechanics. You think it is but it isn't.
What this whole post is about is that you failed at taking out a tank, not because he can recall, but becuase you could not take advantage of the massive edge in weaponry you have over him.
You have every advantage versus a tank, and you still messed it up. Good for him for being able to recall before you could get payment for doing nothing more than listening to some beeps and pretending you are a badass. |

Also, instaswapping at supply depots needs to go then. Please enjoy your 5 minute wait while your clone gets changed. Or take a death and do a hotswap to a new clone, enjoy the ten second respawn timer.
Because you want fair right? |

More often than not, trying to recall in battle will get you killed. Doing so is normally the activity of the stupid, or those who are facing the incompetent.
In the time that it takes for a vehicle to be recalled, you should have been able to loose at least 2 volleys that would have connected. If he stopped to recall at the very start of a losing fight, that is a win for him. You feel like you got screwed, but the truth is you failed at dropping him, that is why the recall was successful.
If that tanker got himself out of your view long enough to recall, that IS a retreat, just not as long as you would like it. But since he could only have guessed at your location, and you knew exactly where he was, him recalling was blind luck and your failings at the role you chose, not a bad mechanic.
Having tankers forced to sit in their one tank all match was a bad mechanic.
In short, your topic is bad, you're bad at AV, and that guy got lucky.

second- i kill the pilot before the tank. they are normally an easier target.
third- how did he get behind it. u hop out on the side or in front. so u let him get behind his tank.
forth- the pilot is weaker and u should have known he was recalling it wat else would he be doing?
Bob, he is convinced that he was wronged.
He will never admit that he messed up and the other guy got very lucky.
Stop trying to explain it to him, he doesn't understand tank business. |
