and for this reason I actually approve despite being disadvantaged with it as a scout (and I mean severely disadvantaged), it also makes speed tanking negligible, so I am hoping for scout only cloaks but back on the subject, I do like the aspect because it severely nerfs the ad ad ad and left/right stick movement to neo dodge bullets out in the open, which were to me just as ridiculous as bunny hopping, this now actually makes cover more useful even in 1v1 engagements

Not all of us want to play sneaky scouts or went into scouts to be sneaky. Some of us seen scouts and were lead to believe, oh hey, SPEED TANKERS. I for one dont ever nor have ever played sneaky in any competitive game (not that dust is looking at all competitive since competitive games dont use aimbots). I believe scouts should get a total refund so we can at least move into what we skilled into.
Just an FYI, in competitive gaming circles and esports, strafing and speed are whats key, not cover. |

I agree that scouts got shafted with this, and need a redesign, with a cloak would make the most sense. But real life engagements are based off of who has more cover and who has the most advantageous firing position. I like it. Makes it more immersive for me. |

This isn't a cover game. There is not enough cover, and thereis not enough large cover, and we have too much health that regenerates too fast. |

Just my thoughts on the subject Haven't seen this yet most of the games have been pretty awesome.
I have countered this with a massive improvment to my game from abandoning strafe and using cover, I've made note of it in the "scouts nerfed again thread" |

speed tanking is really only for getting to where you are needed most quicker and retreating quicker to fight another 1 minute (instead of fight another day) when 1.4 dropped. speed tanking is useless with strafing. It can help you get to your opponent before they turn around and kill them with a shotgun though.
Scouts do need some love. |

Try using only the knives. Just the knives. Don't even bother with the gun. Then tell me what you think about the aim assist being used by the assault rifle users you're trying to stab. |
