lol me get real, have you herd your self they buffed the AR so it rips though armor, I dont think you realise the AR IS THE MOST USED GUN IN THE GAME and theyve just buffed it so it does a ridicules amout of damage to armor if you ask me the old way was way much better

hit detection got fixed. right now scrambler rifles are tearing ass through caldari and minmatar suits like an acetylene torch through a wall of cheese. everything is now showing proper hit detection.

go stand in front of an HMG and let me know how fast it shreds you please.

Iv took down 2 proto heavys 1 on 1 today, with my devol (how ever you spell it)

I get a lot more kills with that combo now with this auto aim feature and i can snipe pretty good with it also. I havent done the numbers but i think the duvol out dps's my boundless. Even it it doesnt straight out dps it the range is much greater on the duvol and its nice to be able to snipe when i want to. I still move slow as dirt but now when i get into a nice spot i can rack up a lot of kills till someone sends an orbital at me.

It's a work in progress, but armor tanking was broken. Getting kills now is fairly easy. Getting killed works the same way. The aiming fix is helping with the explosive damage spam, which happens to be far worse for armor tanked characters. Grenade spammers are going to have to start using their primary weapons again.

Tanking in general is kinda point less, when a single mag will kill the heaviest heavy you can think off!

Shields always win over armor if they successfully retreat and regen shields and attack and repeat. Armor always wins in a straight up fight with no cover. (unless a headshot turns the tide)

That much is FAR more noticable what with Assault Scrambler Rifles melting through shields like butter up to 60m, which is what it's supposed to do. The difference in range is going to be more noticeable in 1.5 when they do another pass on it - at which point the Flavor of the Month is going to be the Scrambler Rifle because no-one is going to be able to adapt to the fact that Assault Rifle is supposed to be used for >40m engagements. Then we'll get the Combat Rifle and Rail Rifle, which will allow players to hallmark on their specialization and pick the range they want to engage at - the Assault Rifle is popular because it's the only ****ing thing close to a legitimate assault rifle in other games. Hence the name.
