These things really have no purpose as of right now. They need something to become better. So I got a few ideas to help them have purpose.
Well, first, these things need a base resistance about 10-20%. They are already made of glass as is. At least make them out of tin foil. Other than that, I can't really think of any other changes stat wise.
Now, another change it needs is the CRU in it. Get rid of it, and add a HI slot to all the Logi DS's. The reason why is that You can put any regular CRU on any vehicle, also it's not like it makes it special. But, there's another reason. Instead of the CRU, you could put in a built in repper for anyone who enters the vehicle, as well as a built in nanohive.
Next, I will add in two new ideas for it in place for the CRU The first one is a Ejection Booster. Now, it's not for the pilot, but for the passengers. Every seat other than the pilot would get a seat that when the pilot wanted to, could launch downward to the ground at double the speed of a regular fall. once the seat is used, it can't be launched out of for the next 30 second to a minute.
The next Idea is what I call the reinforcement module. What it is is basically a redone version of the Saga II's hardener. When you turn it on, you lose a lot of speed, say 50-75% speed, but you gain a lot of resistance. But 8 Seconds is way too short for a drop off. Now, if you could do something like 30 seconds to a minute, that would be good. But having a time likte that would cause abuse. Therefore, it would need a pretty long cooldown, say 3-5 minutes.

1: Eventually the redline will be gone, and by that time, something like this should be put in.

The main thing LDS's need is better manueaverability, maybe if they didn't handle like a brick we could actually dodge things. |

Well, that won't fix it being a viable role, now will it? And LDS's never came to me as "handling like a brick". |
