Rejoice tankers, dont need to flame this thread just troll in game, if you can actually get in a match.
Anyhoo I managed to fight a few HAV today and god damn am I pissed. The lockon speed seems hardly different, infact my game style with the SL has hardly changed at all. I am however missing the 5 round magazine.
What is the point of nerfing the magazine when the reload takes forever, I havent crunched the numbers because tbh it would be pointless. In game terms firing 5 missles > reload compared to firing 3 missles > reload > firing 2 missles the AV runner actually takes a kick to the chucks.
Basically, HAV currently stand a better chance of survival, when 1.5 hits and they get boosted activated mods I want a respec because am out of the AV game, i cba with FG and the SL is basically worst off now and after 1.5 they will be useless.
As I would like to give some positive to the change now, it is theoretically possible now to hit a DS with 2 volley instead of 1 before they fly away, but hey if your using SL against DS then your doing wrong anyway.

I would like to know that also because armor HAV taking 3 proto SL shots then casually going to the red line to rep up has got to be the most horrifying **** ive seen in game in ages |

Because tankers act like we are hunting them down, following them to their homes and murdering their children while they sleep.
They complained the most about the swarm "buff" to make sure CCP didn't think they were happy so they can get swarms needed further.
Swarms barely bother my Incubus, so far I've yet to lose one to Swarms today(that will change tonight when I get liquord up and just start flying for funzys) |

This is why in the OP i stated in game terms, these numbers are saying I can empty a clip in under 4 seconds and thats just bs.
Kinda off topic but factor in evading fire and realigning shots, that interval time can suck a ****. AV runners have been had. |

LOL That just means you're a bad player. I immediately noticed swarms are much better now while using the MLT variant. If I can notice changes with 0 skill points and you probably have 5 with proficiency to at least 3, then that means you're bad. |

The larger magazine is definately more useful and this is something I have previously said in other threads in regards to the 1.5 vehicle change.
Spkr4troll has invaded the thread so am going to leave it there. Arguing his brick wall of stupidity will just be counter productive. However I will max out the reload skill now and see if that makes much of a difference (theorically should) but even the lock on is glitchy and am at the point of just wanting to leave the weapon behind. |

Your crutch launcher is great against the armor vehicles I don't use anymore. All shield vehicles for me until at least 1.5. Why are you complaining about overall faster locking and reloading times? |
