This vehicle will be extremely slow, half the speed of a tank and it can't hide, like tanks can or dropships in time. If the "titan" wants to survive it needs dedicated logi's and aerial support, infantry can run faster than the "titan".
I am guessing that this vehicle must have a base hp high enough, require logi-ships and its own reppers to survive.
These ships, should also be able to hold a capacity of around 10-12 players (passengers), who stand in the bay ready to drop when the pilot says.
Hull for each faction:
6 large turrets
Turret placement: (pilot configurable)
Configuration 1:
4 underside turrets with 2 placed on top of the fuselage
Configuration 2:
3 underside turrets with 2 on each side of the fuselage and 1 on the top.
Configuration 3:
2 underside turrets with 2 on each side of the fuselage and 2 on the top.
Underside turrets are placed in different areas e.g: in the centre, on the rear, on the front.
Topside turrets are placed in the same areas: centre, rear, on the front
Side turrets can be placed anywhere along the side.
HP:
Gallente: 5% bonus to hybrid turrets per level
20 000 Shields
100 000 Armour
Caldari: 5% bonus to missile turrets per level
100 000 Shields
20 000 Armour
Amarr: 5% bonus to energy based turrets per level
40 000 Shields
80 000 Armour
Minmatar: 5% bonus to projectile turrets per level
80 000 Shields
40 000 Armour
I am guessing that with amount of HP, these will have to have built in mega reps (with a higher rep ability per pulse for its prominent method of tanking) e.g.
- Gallente (armour tanking) 4000hp for armour 500hp for shield
- Caldari (shield tanking) 4000hp for shield and 500 hp for armour
- Amarr (armour tanking) 3000hp for armour 1500hp for shield
- Minmatar (shield tanking) 3000hp for shield and 1500 hp for armour
These would require a small amount of spider tanking going on in heavy engagements.
I have always thought that one of these titans-types for dust would be awesome.
