'no respecs or they will be able to kill me and then I wont be able to feel important anymore' .. you're pathetic .. i dotn even want a respec but i couldnt care less if other ppl get a respec .. this game is for fun .. if ppl arent happy with what they have then they can easily choose to not play the game .. which plenty have done so its up to you loser .. feel important for a few months more and watch the game be pulled because it is losing money or allow respecs to retain players and hopefully the game will grow over time ?

Im going to resign agai st respecs that dont involve ccp drasticly (i.e. ge changing) changing or removing skills or items beiond or below their original stats etc im against regular respecs as well as purchasable respecs this is supposed to be a persistant shooter whare your choices matter .

I specced into amarr logi and scram rifle. I HATE BOTH OF THEM! So yea how is that op or broken?

Yeah, tried using the same set up last week...didn't like it. So I only lost a few suits and it didn't cost me any SP.

This game requires some cognitive faculties, which I know scares, and repels a lot of the FPS player base.

I do run around in a logi fit every once and a while, It's only a basic Gallente logi but It gets the job done. I have no problem getting to the top of the server with it. Uplinks, hives and injectors with the CRD-9 assault Scrambler.

I'm so bored of my heavy suit. I've been playing a lot with my Caldari suit and assault Scrambler Rifle. As Dust Fiend said my heavy-HMG SP are no longer of use to me. I just want to put all my SP into core skills and play with different dropsuits, I don't even care about proto.

There is potential for case-by-case refunds of small portions of a player's SP in certain situations. LIke when a new skill is released with an incorrect description (Vehicle Engineering, for example), or when a skill is changed significantly enough to alter the entire dynamic of how a certain role is played. When new racial AR variants come out, there should be an "opt in" respec for people with AR skills. The same goes for Heavy suits, and Scouts.

But a full respec where all SP is refunded? Nope. And certainly not for legitimate "not working as intended" nerfs or buffs being applied.

Actually it really doesn't.

Builds are very very basic, and don't require too much thought. The only thing required is the patience to sit through however many matches it takes you to grind out enough SP for that next point. (been playing since May '12)

This entire list is flawed, perhaps intentionally so.
Look at the very second name on the list - Sloth9230. Look at his post in the thread. It reads 'Rejected'. This is a trend that continues, including some people who didn't even post in the thread - Cat Merc, for instance. It also obviously includes alts - Vethosis, Vesosis, SILVERBACK 01, SILVERBACK 02, SILVERBACK 03... Come on.

Putting the names of the people who reject your idea under your supporters is a really ****** thing to do, as is spamming the names of your alts in the list. That invalidates any fairness in your petition.

Yes, this game is supposed to be a persistent shooter in which your actions have consequences. That's what this game was about when it started and it's still about that.

I've noticed since E3 build the player base has gradually grown more whiny and wants everything given to them.

I think the mass of latter people got into this game expecting some casual, simple minded, generic FPS in which everything is handed to them.

This is what New Eden is about, regardless of changes (which I can understand if it's a catastrophic change when something wasn't OP) what choices you make you stick with. Don't make hasty decisions, without thinking, know that different suits and defenses have different playstyles that you can't play the exact same way. I can't tell you how many shield tankers try to operate their Gunlogis like a Madrugar and throw a pissy fit when they get blown up.

Or you could NOT add names until they've actually signed YOUR thread, particularly when people have provided evidence from the other thread to prove that some of the people listed there didn't sign. That would make more sense than copy/pasting a list then arguing that it's ok to knowingly use falsely-added names because you weren't the one who first claimed they said it.
