Hi All,
I've put together a visualization of the current district ownership shares in Molden Heath. The data backing this visualization is refreshed every hour and will pick up any changes to alliance affiliations and adjust the graph accordingly.
You can see it here:

For the sake of clarity, only corporations with a 1% share of Molden Heath are labeled along the outer edge of the graph. However, you can still see data for the other corporations by mousing over that slice of the pie and reading the tooltip that pops up.

This is a pretty cool visualization! I'm a little surprised at the shares of MH that some corps have (or don't have), based on my experiences playing against those corps.
Have you thought about adding the ability to drill down into each alliance/corp's holdings to see how those break down too? In my mind, it would work kind of like the disk utilization visualization app DaisyDisk:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm in the process of building Alliance and Corporation pages into a larger app, but I could probably incorporate that into the visualization itself, now that you mention it. Not sure when I will get to it, but I'll definitely look into that.

That's something I've been toying with. I already have aggregate data broken down by constellation/system/planet that can be "drilled into". However, that doesn't include all of the constellations/systems/planets that do not have any active planetary conquest going on, so it's incomplete spatially. If I can pull data like that from the API and mash it up with what I already have, should be pretty cool  |
