Pretty sure they're wrong. It wasnt in the patch notes either, but then again neither was vehicle burn.
In any case a respec would make no sense, especially with the complete vehicle overhaul that has yet to be done. |

I doubt it, though 1.5 might see one if things are being shaken up as much as they seem.
I for one would like to go back to my original choice of flying Logistics dropships, if 1.5 proves to be worth a damn for them. |

Perhaps what you've been hearing about is the SP refund for people who have skilled in to the reload speed skills. |

More than likely CCP might give players who invested in those skills a partial refund of the skills invested. It's what they usually do in Eve Online. |

Pretty sure the most that will end up happening is they'll completely reshuffle the vehicle skill trees, conveniently removing skills or reducing the multiplier on certain skills resulting in a huge REFUND (as opposed to "respec") of SP that had been allocated in THOSE SKILLS. Completely different than a respec and has occurred several times in New Eden; it's the only logical thing to do when they remove skills or change multipliers.
Sort of like if you have a weapon reload skill trained, then you will (should...) have a bit number of SP refunded in 1.4 when the multiplier is reduced and the level you had it trained too no longer requires that much allocated SP. |
