I know they should work for sidearms, but grenades are a good question. Up until now, my assumption was that they'd save you something like 40+ CPU and 5-10 PG on proto weapons between the sidearms and light weapon, but if its grenades too, that's even more savings. |

Yeah, I will check if fluxes fall into the hybrid category later.
Now that I think about it, it only damages shields so it can't be hybrid. |

I asked CCP this very question. Their response, no. The Flux grenade counts as explosives :(
But the actual explosives skill reduces CPU so that could help you. |

Yeah, I only need 1 more level to max it out but I just dont think its worth it.
Guess I'll hold out for hybrid sidearms. |

You and me are in the same boat Cody. The only way I could possibly fit a Side arm that's ADV/PRO would be if it's hybrid.
I'd even use Caldari Tech, that's how desperate I am. |
