They control a large amount of things that go on in this game. Even in PC matches, some corps can have people in EVE call down a strike similar to the Orbital Strike.

It's not really a tantrum. I have read every mail sent out and most of them are just friendly reminders. But sometimes the directors or CEO needs to be stern on making sure that the alliance chat is not used by Dust players for the time being. Currently the alliance chat is strictly for use by Eve Online players only until further notice. Besides, the IVY LEAGUE alliance relies on that channel for putting together fleets. To clutter it up with random players posting LFS or RF1 on the channel will not help the alliance in any way except be annoying especially considering that the alliance is rather large.

We've brought in a lot of great players from Dust University. I think they provide a great service to the game.

i'm not apploligizing to nobody but i don't really care about it any more i juasty wanted to know if they don't have such strict rules about not using the alliance chat ebsides can't eve chats only work and be written in by eve characters

Petty use of Alliance chat in any corp will usually result in getting kicked.

D-Uni has some solid, entry-level players out there.
I rarely regret squadding with those dudes.

If they really are communicating to each other in this way, then why do they even pay attention to what the DUST players say?


And in my alliance if a Dusty directly talks to an EVE player, then they will most likely respond politely.

It is not whining, merely asking a question (well I am at least). The ALLIANCE chat is allowed to be used for more than just the EVE players.

About three months at this point I believe. But I'm not a director. I'm an instructor, but far from being a director.

Seems like you're a noob who doesn't understand why the systems there are in place. I hate newbs who think loosing a few 100k is a big deal show some loyalty you obviously don't have any.

However, we have separate channels that have been created that only certain people are invited to... mostly for organizing PC battles with players who are ready and capable. Would it really be too difficult to just do something similar??? Then you have no need to tell people not to post in a certain channel... simply because they won't be in it at all if its for EVE use. I mean its really rather hilarious that you limit players from looking to squad up with alliance members since your too lazy to create a channel for exclusively for important information and EVE side war planning.

Every time I deploy against DU they use LLVs and OP gear it's gotten to the point where whenever I see them on the other side i warn my squad that they'll be using bs tactics.

i use to have a character in dust university i remember the reason why i left that corp. they would always have a tantrum about me writing in the alliance chat. isn't that there to use? i mean why have chat but not even use thats a waste of my bytes
