For realz though, if your actually driving a dropship, fit an afterburner on it, and even if your nose does get tipped, you can flip on the afterburner and get enough air between you and the ground so that you can recover. Also, flaylock pistols don't have very good aim so I would just try to fly further away from the ground in general.

I use it as a means of keeping drop ship pilots fighting the controls rather then me, but I never expect to down a drop ship with a flay lock.
