A thread where scouts can share their cool battle stories either vs. their kin or otherwise. Non-scouts are welcomed so we can read your point of view when you faced a tough scout. Non-scouts please remember that our class is not operating at it's full potential. Thank you. Also, feel free to post as many stories as you want.
My first story comes when my gal faced another gal scout. We both opened fire on eachother our shields almost depleted, we then stopped the battle because he took off and both of our shields were back up. It's like that skirmish never happened lol. Oh, but it did and I was ready to continue, it was funny seeing both our shield recharge at the same rate.
I hope to read some cool stories. |

I picked up two reds on my passive scan. I then flanked them from the left, they kept running unaware. I focused on one that was heading for a supply depot. Later I would find that he was a Min scout with pro knives, he was chasing a blue that was hacking his supply depot. Before he jabbed the guy, I sprinted then jumped to clear the gap between us. As he killed the guy I followed with my strike! The game was over in our favor (not that it matters) As I neared the kill, I saw that he was min scout and on the killfeed he was using pro knives. He went 3/4 and I went 5/4 Scout goes by the name of william Defoe. Imagine a supply depot with 2 bodies laying next to it lol |

On that map with the four objectives and CRU near Charlie, reds continued to spawn on the CRU as I popped in and out blasting away everyone who spawned with my shotgun. If I took fire, I simply ducked behind a crate that is near the CRU and sat in a compact nanohive I threw out.
Went on a solid 8 kill streak and it was funny seeing them getting pissed especially when they started to swap to Proto Cal Logis and Proto Heavy suits. |

I am proto amarr logi (just so you know I'm not a scout)
I was playing a match on skim junction and heading towards A when a minmatar nova knifer came running up the stairs. Naturally I opened fire and after he almost lost all of his armour he hopped the rail and ran away. I started to hack A and was about 3/4 done the hack when...bam!!!! The Minja had returned!!!! I immediately stopped the hack and backed away unloading the half clip I had in my duvolle, he was a quick one and dodged a fair amount and then he got close enough I could melee. So I whacked him to death with my empty duvolle :p |

Yesterday, I was being bad, doing counter sniper activity, by actually going up in the hills, instead of taking them out from a distance.
I had just chased someone off, when someone just walked around the corner of one of the stupid-tall towers thats up on the hills sometimes.
So there we were. Both standing in the road. About 80m away from each other or so? We both dropped to a crouch at the same time. I got a bead on his head, I think, with my basic level1 sniper rifle...
And then suddenly, out of nowhere.. a blue LAV pops up, and parks on the road between us. Totally obscuring the view.
Heartbeat.
Heartbeat.
The LAV takes off at maximum speed. Neither of us have moved!! The bullets start flying, as I'm mashing R1 with the stupid-slow reload times. He gets off 2 shots on me! I get off 3.
I walk away (barely).

Scout v Scout
1)
I was running a standard scout suit, militia modules, and advance sniper / Scram Pistol up in mountains, not the red line because the rest of my team was there because we were getting stomped and sniped. On the corner of my eye I saw I was about to get flanked by a fully decked Gallente Proto Scout Nova Knifer.
I then whipped out my pistol and unloaded on him thinking I could just drain his HP completely by aiming for the high torso, to my dismay it did not and he fully regenerated before I could even finish reloading.
We then engaged in in a deadly cycle of sprinting, strafing and leaping matches on the mountainous terrain, he was much faster than I was, but I had the better stamina pool. He would try to get the better position as he would weave in and out of cover, w lunging directly at me while swinging. I countered by making 45 degree leaps to avoid him while trying to line up a head shot. Probably the most ridiculous and humorous fight to watch.
This went on for about 45 seconds as I was switching between point blank sniper shots and pistol head shots, couldn't land enough pistol shots and I couldn't land a sniper shot. Fortunately I had a nano hive placed so ammo wasn't an issue. Towards the end of the 45 seconds I was getting the better ground as he was getting stuck more and more and his armor was dwindling despite having repairers, the unfortunate part was that his proto stomping team came at me with 3 tanks and 5 AR assaults, needless to day I was disintegrated.
2)
I was running a ScramP/SMG combo, started off by being 1HKO by a shottie while I was hacking a point. I came back and was having a very unusually good match as part of the forward offense with crystal aiming, I was on the top of the board in kills with just my pistol.
When my team regrouped and started the push again, they were literally stopped by the one shottie who took out 3/4th of our forward force as enemy hostile Assaults tied up the survivors. While the shottie was making his leaping escape I was able to pull off aI 1HKO with a head shot.
We eventually secured the hack and our team was able to push the enemy outside of the complex, and I saw the shottie behind my team and noticed that he decided to pursue the hack. I followed too closely hoping to get him at the hack as I lit up on his tacnet. I wish I knew my map names better but it was the location with the major complex on the hack point that is checkered with columns. So we were zig-zagging in and out, constantly changing the strafing direction, and shooting around corners. I also had remove explosives which I placed around trying to navigate him into it, he saw the tactic just in time and was able to jump over the remotes, messing up my timing as I expected sprint speed over them. I was able to catch him on a depleted stamina pool which I was able to line up my last clip to take him out. I had my highest Scram Pistol game that match with 23 kills (3 were due to RE).
Scout v Heavy w/ friends
My team was breaking to the enemy advance and I was raising havoc with a few back shots running through the enemy's forces acting as a decoy as I was kind of in a "**** it" mode. I go the attention of a HMG unit that didn't take kindly to me depleting his shields so I sprinted away dodging his shots around corners only to be cut off and surrounded by hostile assault fire blocking off any chance of escaping across the open road. I was chase up a dead end ramp which gave me a short high ground view of the HMG. It was like a Jaws movie, as he was circling to go up the ramp I was unloading my Pistol/smg from my temporary vantage point, everything I had., barely even dented his armor. Several assaults then ran up with the heavy unit in to the dead end box that I was trapped in. I tossed 2 locus grenades and kissed my ass goodbye taking out the heavy along with 3 other assaults. I celebrated with a little jig with some maniacally cackling.
Scout v Assaults
I was sniping right in the middle of a crossfire as we were fighting for the compound, I got caught in there because I was dropping uplinks to hold the position on a few low level buildings. I got spun around by a squad of AR Assaults that shot earlier than he should of, I suspect that they were not vets or proto. I was able to avoid them through some building leaps, while the gap that I jumped could not be cleared by them they were leaping around with shorter gaps. I leaped onto the ground since I could not afford that they get a straight line on me and pulled out my pistol, as they were leaping down and horizontal to my direction I was able to kill both of them with head shots in midair, and it felt good, dam good.

I'm flank far left on the a,b,c,d map. (four buildings) starting on D side. Up the mountains I climb. and low and behold two snipers setting up shop. get in nice and close and blow them away with smg. why not shotty? well I wasn't running that suit. I was running my scout av suit. so towards the enemy lines I go, DS trying to circle building. I plug him with two volleys of proto SL love.
all of a sudden I'm getting shot at from my left side! I drop downthe mountain and spring for cover. heavy.. Ok.. he busted me up. shields up, but loss a lot of blood. but he doesn't know where I am. Damn it ladies of eden tell what to do!! then it comes to me.
I start shooting at a rock. like crazy. 1,2,3,4, and I take off! up the mountain! flanking right from where I last saw heavy. and here I am. Now above heavy. I drop my re, which slides down near him. and then shoot him to get his attention.

One time I saw this gal shotty jump off a small platform unto me. He tried to pull that death from above move, but I timed my knives so he landed on them. It was unbeliavable. I don't know if I went just under his shot or he shot a marshmallow. I was thrilled that I killed him like that.
Please feel free to put as many scout vs the world or scout vs. scout stories. I enjoy killing in my scout suit using PRO knives and M209 smg and BSC REs exclusively. Getting precision level 4 tomorrow.
I was once murdered in cold blood by a gal shotty. He shot my back and as I layed bleeding, I saw him leap over to the bottom floor. It was beautiful. I still remember his back. |

i reularly go upwards of 19-0 or 19-3 (somewhere between that) with my knives, but there was one match that stood out the most. i was playing with someone i was teaching to use nova knives, and somehow, we managed to get 9 people chasing us. we took a few out by luring them into reemote explosives until there were about 5 left. this is where we got cornered and decided it was time to take our last stand. so we tag team them, running circles around them, oone of us distracting while the other one kills, and we actually managed to kill all of them without dying. it was like10 minutes of nonstop gunfire towards us, but it was the most intense rush of fun and panic ive ever had on this game. |

A while ago, in the earlier days of Uprising, when we were all becoming familiar with the lack of shotgun awesomeness caused by crappy hit detection I was ambushed by a Min scout whilst hacking a turret outside the map by the entrance to the A/B/C interior objectives. I had my shotty and a militia scrambler.... in the days prior to switching to the SMG.
Anyway, this dude had an SMG and started firing from farther away than he probably should have.... all the bullets freaked me out and I panicked! I quit my hack and we circled a few times with my shotgun rounds either missing due to his superior speed, or hitting by not registering (the 1 or 2 that maybe did hit). This continued for 15 seconds or so while his SMG bullets slowly ate through my shields and started into my armor as more of his rounds landed and registered. Thank god we were both dancing everywhere or I would have surely been dead.....
I decided to bail (the cowardly thing I know!) so I took off as fast as my remaining stamina would allow me to hustle in my Gallente dragonfly suit. He was right behind as I navigated the many hills on the way to the exterior objective "D" on the enemy side. I ran out of stamina, said "oh, **** it" and turned around.
BLAM, BLAM, BLAM! Three shots with the militia pistol! All went off into the hillside, the enemy MCC or my own foot....
BLAM, BLAM! Two more - one body shot, another miss.
BLAM! Amarrian scrambler round to the dome on the last shot.....
Hyped up on sweat and adrenaline, feeling truely boss and half, I slowly walked into the complex and chilled the **** out with a martini as I reloaded my weapons and waited for my stamina and armor to recover.

I have some intense moments fighting ppl in BPOs or mlt gear. Prototypes kill me way to quick. I then feel cheap or upset that it was a challenge to take out these players that have a lot of deaths on their record. I went on a 13 killstreak with knives. I hacked their base objective in skirm. I then hid by the objective and began to watch my tacnet. reds were coming in to hack but they never left. 13 kills, some did find me, but since we were in cqc I swiped them with knives and finished with the M209. That objective was hot! I might've killed the same enemy more than twice but idk.
I found it interesting that I had no Damp/scan mods and I was in the Covenant suit. I was merely crouched and covered from the enemies' line of sight. I was like 10m away from the objective too. I was picking them up on my tacnet and watched as they tried to look for me, they began hacking and I appeared out of thin air, they must have asked themselves. I was there the whole time Only on one occassion did 2 redberries came at once, which made things more interesting.
At the end of the game there was another red that wanted to shoot me out of the objective (D), perhpas he had a SR because he was standing there charging I suppose. I had his attention while my squad mate Toro killed him before he got the shot out. |

Surprisingly, all weapons can do damage to vehicles, so it was down to maybe idk...100HP, so I just spammed shotgun blasts at it until BOOM!

One match. two lavs. 3 guys. They come in on my objective like they own it. I dodge and weave and scramble in between two posts, as the lavs V into them. I throw my RE right into the V and detonate. 2 down. The heavy that's left comes charging, as I take cover around the corner. Switch to shotty, and turn corner. 1 down.
that's it right? Nope. cause here comes Mr yellow cab to ruin my day. Dodge again. run up hill, he drives for me. I jump back down and around, and drop re in front of me. I know I won't destroy it, but that's not what I'm trying to do. He takes the bait cause well come on, he wasn't gonna get out and fight me. Wait for it.... wait for it.. now! detonate RE! It flips that joker over.
no choice now.. he gets out. I already have my shotty out. "Damn bro! you ok? I think you hit a rabbit" I tell em, (again not expecting him to hear me) Fired my shotty twice. and then one more time after he died cause he tried to shoot me back. bastard.

REs are boss points because you have to manually trigger it lol. timing is crucial or else you'll find yourself on his hood. Again this reminds me when I took out a heavy of skillful value (looking at the end match results)

This happened to me yesterday when i was trying out an experimental fit i created.
It was a bright day on the war ravaged field of line harvest as my squad and i prepared to deploy into battle. I decided for this battle i wanted to finally test a fit combining my best strengths Sniping and Knifing. So i proceeded to the armory to get fitted into my Hybrid Minmatar Scout (3x plex shields, 1 plex kin kat, 1 enhance CPU, Ishakone sniper, ishakone knives, nanohive). While being fitted i had my clone juiced up with some purple quafe. I felt ready for battle. I called through the PA to ready Eagle, Hope and Pain. The time grew near and my heart was pounding. Then all went black as the MCC bridge prepared for enemy combat. Light flooded the room as 16 mercenaries were teleported to the re spawn room. Lights were going off and on. Flashing and blinding as the enemy MCC warped to the battle field. The bay doors opened and i rushed out. The light was intense. As my HUD corrected my vision, I prepped for landing using my inertia dampener. The first few minutes were a blur as i sprinted toward an unclaimed CRU. I then proceeded behind the north eastern tower actively checking my scanners. I quickly brought the scope of Eagle into the ready position as i saw 3 Assaults beginning a press on Alpha. Immediately i took aim and dropped the weakest with a clean headshot. This didn't seem to phase the other two so i took aim and missed 2 bullets cursing at the wind. then, i struck gold as a lucky shot, before they were out of view, stuck one in the head he was mortally weaken and i decided i needed to change positions and hope the crew defending alpha could take down a well weakened assault. I took off from my position running swiftly to a outpost overlooked D cursing myself for not being able to carry something to deal with the blaster installation that dropped. My progress was immidatly stopped and i radioed for a installation take down. As i called it in a salvo of swarms came in and blew up the installation. My progress no longer hindered i raced to delta in hopes i could get an easy hack off. there was no such luck as a heavy spawned in to defend the point. Eagle was immediately replace by Hope and Pain. I slid behind cover as his heavy machine gun wound up and launched countless rounds behind me. With my stamina recovered i launched from my position and took flight charging my knives and unleashing a lethal force that melted the poor troops heavy armour off. A fellow mercenary took the initiative and hacked the point while i fended off a small contingent of troops that showed up. That's when i received a transmission requesting reinforcements at bravo. As i race to back up my battle worn squad i was hit but an LAV my consciousness began to fade but suddenly i was warped in a new clone in the thick of battle at bravo.
I immediately dropped down and shot a logi coming to resupply the front. My aim was not true as it took 4 bullets to drop him. Then i heard the wind-up of a familiar gun aimed at my back quickly i tossed Eagle away and drew my knives. I sprinted to my left and launched a 180 jump towards my would-be assassin and ripped through his head. Quickly i picked up Eagle and quickly dropped an assault flanking on our 9. My squad still defending the assault from the front gave me an opportunity to flank i quickly switched back to Hope and Pain and sprinted through 4 enemies all left lifeless behind me i gave the command and my squad moved to flank Charlie. My squad mate got clipped by an enemy sniper and gave me a brief location after a quick landscape check i found him a put a well timed round into his brain. My squad was still advancing and i got left a good sprint away. Before i could reqroup an enemy squad of 3 flanked me. Quickly i knifed at that heavy but missed the weak point in his amour and had to quickly avoid his HMG. Thankfully the other two assaults aim was poor as i dashed to cover to regen some shields lost i switched to Eagle and got a lucky shot into an assault that scarred him off. I switched back to my knives and sprinted through enemy fire and gutted the other assault leaving him a new hole to feed himself with. The heavy ravaged my shields and my HUD recognized that and warned me my shields were depleted 2 bullets ripped into my suit and left me wincing from the pain. the heavy realizing my distress he immediately advanced on my shallow cover. Recognizing i might die i quickly prepped Eagle and hoped i would get a lucky shot off. Everything went slow motion as i sprang from cover and aimed through the scope praying i was on target. I pulled the trigger and a sound reverberated through my suit alerting me to my success.
My squads coms activated telling me of a complete victory on the ground now we just needed to wait for enemy MCC destruction. The battle was practically over as i ran to my logi for aid. Shortly after the enemy MCC erupted as a null canon hit the engine room enveloping the battlefield in an ear shattering explosion. We quickly returned to tthe MCC to be rewarded for completing our contract. After debriefing with my squad we all congratulated each other on another seemingly easy victory. Hungry for another chance to play with my new found suit i quickly accepted another contract for my squad and we deployed yet again. |

I think my favorite moment has to be when I sneaked my way round a compound, entering it from the back, finding a heavy and two of his mates there. His mates were guarding the front entrance, while the heavy was busy calling in a missile tank.
I quickly fluxed the heavy and followed up with a couple of flaylock rounds, killing him before his tank was deployed. His mates didn't notice. I hacked the tank behind their back, hopped in and took them out with a couple of missile rounds. By then, the heavy had spawned in on a nearby CRU, and he was quite obviously royally pissed off that I had stolen his (presumably expensive) tank: He walked straight towards me, out in the open, unloading whole clips of his HMG into the tank. I killed him with a missile blast and then, sadly, the match ended. Fun while it lasted, though :-D |

Havent been playing much even when it was a 2x sp anyways, after I started playing again on my 1st day, I used the free heavy that was given to us... I'm a light frame user, I just used the heavy so I can sprint with it... why, coz then I can switch to my light frame and feel extra fast! hahaha. At any rate, just wanted to mention that. on my 2nd day, I finally ran with my light frame. It was the first time I was able to do something that I've always wanted to do for a while, not die once. Last kill I had was two guys trying to shoot me down after I finished hacking their base( not sure with the name of the map, its where A and B are linked closely with a bridge), I was almost sure I was not going to make it. So I hacked their base, they were gunning me down, it was on a high floor, I didnt have a choice and so I tried to at least take one down with me, I switch to a different plan and jumped off the floor instead of persuing for the kill. I thought I was still being chased down, However they gave no chase, thus I went around and snuck up behind and got both of them with my knife while they were busy hacking. End of the match, I didnt die for once with my light frame, and at the same time highest on the rank up. 11/0 |

Good job on not dying. Nice evasive action as you can see it is rewarded. Knife kills in a row are awesome! |

Pretty cool! :) I've never gone more than 4/0 mixing it up in CQC - so I know it's tough ending a game with no deaths!

Ok so yesterday I ended up in a ambush squad with 5 nyain San guys an real felt I had something to prove cuz those dudes are beasts! Amazing squad to run with.
Anyway long story shot opening of the match I spawn in the city in a corner between two containers, I look left an right an realize it's ALL RED! Oh $hit lol I whip out my knives an just start going to town as they keep spawning in, I think I walked away with 9 kills before anyone in the game even fired a shot!
Lol it was the best possible outcome in that situation, if I had no knives on me I woulda been dead in seconds, but as soon as I seen red I just started cutting! Couldn't believe I got them all they started shooting after I got a few of them, you should seen the fear in their eyes lol |

I can't wait for that to change. They are going to see me sprinting a short distance, they will be spraying and praying, I'll be dodging bullets like a boss and then stab them on the stomach. there will be little they can do about it.
Yesterday I knifed two punks in open field, I was sprinting and dodging bullets from one guy, he reloaded, he was backpeddling, I ran faster getting 1m close but missing with my knives. I finally got him though as he deserved to die, next guy was next to him in open field so I sprint and got him too! He went down before he got a shot out. Man knifing is a rush and it takes mad skill! Good post ozarow, Glad you took out some AR punks with you. |

I love killing fools because they think they are untouchable. I want more blood, I want to kill more and more! I love Kamikazeing too! Or being stealth ninja. I love getting in their face and watching them backpeddling like little hoes. That won't last long though. Kife knife knife. |

Went 18-0 while holding the entire city by myself the other day. It was the bridge map with most of the battle out there and I held the two points in the city with remotes. I had maybe 4 gun kills the rest were with remotes and just cycling back to the supply depot. It was awesome, a few kills were with remotes running away from battle and a few from just idiots walking up to hack. Never hack without looking around :) |
