A thread where scouts can share their cool battle stories either vs. their kin or otherwise. Non-scouts are welcomed so we can read your point of view when you faced a tough scout. Non-scouts please remember that our class is not operating at it's full potential. Thank you. Also, feel free to post as many stories as you want.
My first story comes when my gal faced another gal scout. We both opened fire on eachother our shields almost depleted, we then stopped the battle because he took off and both of our shields were back up. It's like that skirmish never happened lol. Oh, but it did and I was ready to continue, it was funny seeing both our shield recharge at the same rate.
I hope to read some cool stories. |

I picked up two reds on my passive scan. I then flanked them from the left, they kept running unaware. I focused on one that was heading for a supply depot. Later I would find that he was a Min scout with pro knives, he was chasing a blue that was hacking his supply depot. Before he jabbed the guy, I sprinted then jumped to clear the gap between us. As he killed the guy I followed with my strike! The game was over in our favor (not that it matters) As I neared the kill, I saw that he was min scout and on the killfeed he was using pro knives. He went 3/4 and I went 5/4 Scout goes by the name of william Defoe. Imagine a supply depot with 2 bodies laying next to it lol |

One time I saw this gal shotty jump off a small platform unto me. He tried to pull that death from above move, but I timed my knives so he landed on them. It was unbeliavable. I don't know if I went just under his shot or he shot a marshmallow. I was thrilled that I killed him like that.
Please feel free to put as many scout vs the world or scout vs. scout stories. I enjoy killing in my scout suit using PRO knives and M209 smg and BSC REs exclusively. Getting precision level 4 tomorrow.
I was once murdered in cold blood by a gal shotty. He shot my back and as I layed bleeding, I saw him leap over to the bottom floor. It was beautiful. I still remember his back. |

This sounds fun and intense. No one can pull a last stand like a scout |

Matticus Monk wrote:A while ago, in the earlier days of Uprising, when we were all becoming familiar with the lack of shotgun awesomeness caused by crappy hit detection I was ambushed by a Min scout whilst hacking a turret outside the map by the entrance to the A/B/C interior objectives. I had my shotty and a militia scrambler.... in the days prior to switching to the SMG.
Anyway, this dude had an SMG and started firing from farther away than he probably should have.... all the bullets freaked me out and I panicked! I quit my hack and we circled a few times with my shotgun rounds either missing due to his superior speed, or hitting by not registering (the 1 or 2 that maybe did hit). This continued for 15 seconds or so while his SMG bullets slowly ate through my shields and started into my armor as more of his rounds landed and registered. Thank god we were both dancing everywhere or I would have surely been dead.....
I decided to bail (the cowardly thing I know!) so I took off as fast as my remaining stamina would allow me to hustle in my Gallente dragonfly suit. He was right behind as I navigated the many hills on the way to the exterior objective "D" on the enemy side. I ran out of stamina, said "oh, **** it" and turned around.
BLAM, BLAM, BLAM! Three shots with the militia pistol! All went off into the hillside, the enemy MCC or my own foot....
BLAM, BLAM! Two more - one body shot, another miss.
BLAM! Amarrian scrambler round to the dome on the last shot.....
Hyped up on sweat and adrenaline, feeling truely boss and half, I slowly walked into the complex and chilled the **** out with a martini as I reloaded my weapons and waited for my stamina and armor to recover.
(I haven't got any cool stories in the few months since....) Sometimes running away is the best thing to do, you can put them at a disadvantage. This sounds awesome especially the kill with the last round! |

Amazing great awesome stuff man, That is what scouting is all about, so you think that armor reps are a must for a scout? Again, that was really cool, I panicked for you when you had one shot left and you meleed the idiot. Taxi almost got you lol and good work with the AV nades. You defended that territory spendidly. happy hunting. |

I have some intense moments fighting ppl in BPOs or mlt gear. Prototypes kill me way to quick. I then feel cheap or upset that it was a challenge to take out these players that have a lot of deaths on their record. I went on a 13 killstreak with knives. I hacked their base objective in skirm. I then hid by the objective and began to watch my tacnet. reds were coming in to hack but they never left. 13 kills, some did find me, but since we were in cqc I swiped them with knives and finished with the M209. That objective was hot! I might've killed the same enemy more than twice but idk.
I found it interesting that I had no Damp/scan mods and I was in the Covenant suit. I was merely crouched and covered from the enemies' line of sight. I was like 10m away from the objective too. I was picking them up on my tacnet and watched as they tried to look for me, they began hacking and I appeared out of thin air, they must have asked themselves. I was there the whole time Only on one occassion did 2 redberries came at once, which made things more interesting.
At the end of the game there was another red that wanted to shoot me out of the objective (D), perhpas he had a SR because he was standing there charging I suppose. I had his attention while my squad mate Toro killed him before he got the shot out. |

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my DUST career...destroyed the Madrugar and got a nice double kill....I can imagine their faces when they saw that in the kill feed XD
Trololo scout o7 Hey sweet double kill, how does a shotgun kill a tank lol? Did the shells hit the gas tank and it exploded? lol You just reminded me when I got my first and only scout tank kill. I saw a tank badly damaged, so I pounced on it, sprinted towards it and laid on RE, I then ran for cover and detonated_EXPOLSION. I did this to steal the kill from swarmers lol. I saw a fellow scout member Travi run up to one and chuck a Lai Dai Av and BOOM 2 kills. |

Man those lavs are jokers. It's funny how one RE can kill a passenger on tthe car lol. REs are boss points because you have to manually trigger it lol. timing is crucial or else you'll find yourself on his hood. Again this reminds me when I took out a heavy of skillful value (looking at the end match results)
I saw him harassing some blues, I laid my PMs, he got on and sped towards me. Explosion kill!, I had to dodge the burning wreck! By a hairline lol |

Protected Void wrote:I think my favorite moment has to be when I sneaked my way round a compound, entering it from the back, finding a heavy and two of his mates there. His mates were guarding the front entrance, while the heavy was busy calling in a missile tank.
I quickly fluxed the heavy and followed up with a couple of flaylock rounds, killing him before his tank was deployed. His mates didn't notice. I hacked the tank behind their back, hopped in and took them out with a couple of missile rounds. By then, the heavy had spawned in on a nearby CRU, and he was quite obviously royally pissed off that I had stolen his (presumably expensive) tank: He walked straight towards me, out in the open, unloading whole clips of his HMG into the tank. I killed him with a missile blast and then, sadly, the match ended. Fun while it lasted, though :-D Impressive! You get a Tank Thief Medal! |

chode ibex wrote:Havent been playing much even when it was a 2x sp anyways, after I started playing again on my 1st day, I used the free heavy that was given to us... I'm a light frame user, I just used the heavy so I can sprint with it... why, coz then I can switch to my light frame and feel extra fast! hahaha. At any rate, just wanted to mention that. on my 2nd day, I finally ran with my light frame. It was the first time I was able to do something that I've always wanted to do for a while, not die once. Last kill I had was two guys trying to shoot me down after I finished hacking their base( not sure with the name of the map, its where A and B are linked closely with a bridge), I was almost sure I was not going to make it. So I hacked their base, they were gunning me down, it was on a high floor, I didnt have a choice and so I tried to at least take one down with me, I switch to a different plan and jumped off the floor instead of persuing for the kill. I thought I was still being chased down, However they gave no chase, thus I went around and snuck up behind and got both of them with my knife while they were busy hacking. End of the match, I didnt die for once with my light frame, and at the same time highest on the rank up. 11/0 This sounds like some intense scouting. When you don't die it feels like a real mission. Good job on not dying. Nice evasive action as you can see it is rewarded. Knife kills in a row are awesome! |

OZAROW wrote:Ok so yesterday I ended up in a ambush squad with 5 nyain San guys an real felt I had something to prove cuz those dudes are beasts! Amazing squad to run with.
Anyway long story shot opening of the match I spawn in the city in a corner between two containers, I look left an right an realize it's ALL RED! Oh $hit lol I whip out my knives an just start going to town as they keep spawning in, I think I walked away with 9 kills before anyone in the game even fired a shot!
Lol it was the best possible outcome in that situation, if I had no knives on me I woulda been dead in seconds, but as soon as I seen red I just started cutting! Couldn't believe I got them all they started shooting after I got a few of them, you should seen the fear in their eyes lol Their fear is my fuel. Backpeddling won't save them forever. I can't wait for that to change. They are going to see me sprinting a short distance, they will be spraying and praying, I'll be dodging bullets like a boss and then stab them on the stomach. there will be little they can do about it.
Yesterday I knifed two punks in open field, I was sprinting and dodging bullets from one guy, he reloaded, he was backpeddling, I ran faster getting 1m close but missing with my knives. I finally got him though as he deserved to die, next guy was next to him in open field so I sprint and got him too! He went down before he got a shot out. Man knifing is a rush and it takes mad skill! Good post ozarow, Glad you took out some AR punks with you. |

I love killing fools because they think they are untouchable. I want more blood, I want to kill more and more! I love Kamikazeing too! Or being stealth ninja. I love getting in their face and watching them backpeddling like little hoes. That won't last long though. Kife knife knife. |
