The Forge gunner was OBVIOUSLY ,well placed, protected and with teamwork supporting him repping his armor vs snipers and providing him Ammo.
FGs are not OP. Tankers are whiners FG comes with plenty of Ammo to take down 3-4 tank and it does a lot of fking damage. Also, i assure you, he was alone on a tower. No its doesnt i use an ASSAULT FORGE GUN with 2 CX DAMAGE MODS and ive shot tanks 4 times in a row and still survive. PLUS, if you take 4 shots in a row you are obviously doing something WRONG DONT LIE BRO, you are talking with a guy who plays both AV and as a tanker. (10mill tanker 13mill AV) Unless you are a sucky tanker or are using MLT tanks, there is no way a FG will destroy you in less than 3 shots.
If you were really a tanker, you would know how it feels to go up against Proto ishyukone assault FG |

If after the 1st shot you activate any kind of regenerator the FG wont be able to kill you. The FG does an approx of 6000 DM with 4 shots so :
-You are laying wrong since you are obviously going suicidal to places where there is no cover, no one gets hit 4 times in a row with good positioning.
-You wait too long to activate your regenerators
-Your tank is a little weak for your lack of skill to be quite honest. Mine has 1000 shield 6500 Armor and i can take 4 ASsault FG in a row,if it was the case.

Imagine a proto Anti-Vehicle weapon taking out vehicles. It's almost beyond belief. And it only took four shots? That's ten seconds worth of charge time. How many shots does it take your blaster turret to kill infantry? How many seconds does it take to kill an infantry player? A better question would probably be "how many infantry can you kill with a blaster turret in ten seconds?" |

Also he was doing 1800+ damage a shot and he took about 8 seconds... how far can i travel in 8 seconds in a slow shield tank about 1/8th the map... n even if i was in cover... he was above me and in the map i was in their was no cover from targets above you... yes he was smart to get above me but then he took me out in 8 seconds so ... thats pretty OP... dealing over 6700 damage in 8 seconds...

No im not a ''REAL tanker'' As i despise vehicles. I used one of my Alts that's been accumulating SP for a LONG a** time to see what the fuzz is about.
NOthing. The only thing i feel is :
1st- Tanks are way too expensive. Price reduction needed.
2nd-Need to know where The Forge gunner is shooting from.
Besides that, i dont rampage inside cities so i barely get killed, always on mountains or near cover so i can back out fast enough,you know,cuz even in real lief a tank can be destroyed by a single AV RPG,so yeah.... |

you have this attitude because you are OP... You say my tank is bad... do you know how much SP went into this fit? i would like to see you come up with a better shield fit. I dare you to make an alt and make a fit that can take out my gunnlogi, make it shield because a madrugar can take out most gunnlogis because of its rep.

Dude you just dont get it... you dont get the pain... if you were a tanker and i was the AV guy you would be in my position right now... And i would be in yours. I atleast want to stand a chance but i dont... The reason tanks are hated because people dont spec into Av to put up a fight but when they do they go to a point where they get proto FG and when they get that, its like the FG is the tank with blaster and the tank is just a scout who had beed spotted. In the fight of AV and tanks... The Av is the one harming the tank-the tank doesnt harm AV. |

Example core is one of the better tankers in the game and out of this group is one of the only that runs caldari tanks. It takes at least 5 AFG shots to pop, his gunnlogi. That is with full prof that you think is not needed.
I will say this again. You cannot nerf a prototype weapon to be barely useful against an advanced tank at best. This means that once marauders and prototype tanks are 're-released, they will be too much of a handful and will be too effective. I am all for simple rebalances when actual data is collected on same tier effectiveness.

YOU DONT GET THE PAIN.
You dont kno what playing Infantry with NO AV's or MLT avs is when the enemy decides to drop 3 tanks on us and there is NOTHING to do vs those 8000+ EHP Behemoths.They just kill indiscriminately with nothing to stop them.
Even while being an AV, if you are not in a GREAT position the tank will pretty much still obliterate you. Yeah even with1200 EHP.
AND NO, maybe i dont ''feel'' your pain,because when im tanking im always behind cover or at bigger distances to actually feel threatened by AV weaponry. The only way i was REALLY scared of using a second tank was when another tanker with Missiles came ll the way to me and i didnt see him and shoot the crap out of me with 4 missile barrages. |
