Making money in this game is easy, you just gotta pick your battles and pick your suits.

If I'm solo and facing a stacked team, I take a look at my own team:
- If the team looks pretty strong, I'll stay and fight and maybe spend some money to support them because it'll be fun. I'll put the occasional protosuit out there.

- If the team looks like it's going to suck because it's comprised of fresh out of the Academy noobs, I'll probably just leave before the fight begins so as not to waste my time, nor even a 20k isk suit. I don't use free suits, I'm actually starting to care about my KDR somewhat.

- If the team starts off strong, but for whatever reason things get super bad mid-fight, and we CAN'T recover I'll afk in the redzone or MCC. Sure it's more considerate to just leave, but I'd rather stay the full amount of time, and maybe snipe a protosuit or two to try and recover some of my costs.

- Finally, you can ring in PC. Play proto to your heart's content, and provided you don't get molly-whopped, you'll walk away with consistently high returns.

In the end, if you're running solo and you want to make money, you need to think prudently, and don't waste your resources fighting for sorry teams over some sense of misplaced gamer sportsmanship. If you do that, Dust will penalize you for participation.

Midway through a fight if things go downhill you quit lol. That would explain why D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N has to lose so many suits to recover the objective in pubs so we can still get that big W. Im more proud of my W/L then KDR. Maybe you shouldn't give up and stuff. Just sayin.

I carry an elm on an Amarr advanced assault. It is very fun and works great as crowd control. The damage creeps up, if you are stupid enough to let the laser beam touch you because you think it is weak then you're already down a clone. If I was a decent shot it would almost be op, the scope will push it close to op as it right now. When used properly the LR melts suits in no time, if it works with me with only level 3 skills then anyone with perfect skills will be a killer.

lol you run a laser? My beliefs about CCP never actually playing their own game continue to be proven. No one runs a laser except as a joke.

Anyone who didn't get the early respecs is in a pretty tough place. Having all that gear turned into isk was great indeed. My vehicle alt hover around just under 2 million. But I to lone wolf so it comes with the territory.

You know that the Viziam doesn't do any more damage than the regular one? it just takes longer to overheat...so you can build up heat longer...POTENTIALLY doing more damage...but you have to use up an entire clip just to do that :/

Using the extra pg/cpu for say a damage mod or two is the only way to actually do more damage with it sadly...

It's a rare day when I go over 2 million ISK, that's what I get for running solo and staying out of PC :p

I basically never ever ever use my proto gear, it's just there to look pretty (aside from my Ishukone forge), it's basically all advanced gear for me.

Who else wishes they could sit on their Merc Quarters couch to look for extra change?

My average account balance us around 200k ISK, I'm constantly running low on fits, I rarely have more than 1 of each vehicle fits, and nearly all of the modules are shared across the majority of the fits, if I deploy or lose a vehicle I have to restock nodules before i can call in another. I rarely have more than 10 of any infantry fit either and I've had to restock in fits mid battle more than once. ISK rarely stays in my account for more than 2 matches after it was earnt before it's spent, barring the liquidation period after uprising my entire dust career has been spent running out of everything.
