That's a good feeling thought. I don't use my rail tank as much as my blaster fit. But there is just something really fun about getting close range rail kills. It is the best. I actually have a rail tank fit with 2 pg boosters and my best mods. Tough rail tank, good for killin glass cannon fits .
I'm primarily a blaster tanker, but rails do have a special place in my heart. If nothing else than because it makes me laugh so hard to kill infantry at close range with the weapon.

To be honest, its been a long time sense I've called in any of my shield tanks. Kind of miss the old girl sometimes, but I've found I love having utility high slots.

My shields are at 5400, with 33% resist, unless I used a small aztropic extender in place of my active heatsink. Love that heatsink though. Still need to test out my passive heatsink fit.

I only use the heat sync on my glass cannon. Or maddy blaster. Passives are crap for rails better for blasters.

Man, always hate getting blown up by one in a close range engagement. Running missiles mostly atm, so I've been trying, but a good fit maddie eats em up. Man if I got one though, that kill would be sweeeet.

I have fallen in love with using active heat sinks, I mean who hasn't. Plus an active scanner, that thing has saved my tank I don't know how many times. I used to have a Damage Control instead of the active scanner, but it has at least doubled my survivability. Plus it helps my team know some of the best places to focus on.

Was thinking passives with an active. Trying it on my Proto compressed first to see how many more shots I can get from it. Just wanna test the passives out.

Need to look into running a heavy damage missile. hmmmm

If your using missiles try nit to out yoirself in anywhare where you dont habe a good 100m roind you . I verry rarely get up close to other tanks with missiles . If you can keep the maddy at about 150m then its blasters will be usless against your shields and your missiles will shread their armour.

Wish I could use a scanner. My wheel usually only consists of 2 things, a heal and a heatsink/speed booster. Buddy of mine, Lone - Wolf let me run around in one of his. IT was awesome. So many things to turn on. Felt like a tank.

1 10% dammage mod is good if your using proto missiles but if not then concentrait on speed and resistane. High tank low gank I keep telling folks a tank that lives will carry on doing dammage no matter what grade its turrets are.

I know, armor tanks have a lot to keep track of. But got to love that active scanner. But this discussion makes me want to pull my old gunnlogi out and give her a spin. I might tonight.

Sing it! I don't really understand some people who down grade there defenses in favor of slight damage increases. I've taken down a lot of tanks that do just that, and it doesn't make any sense to me.

Oh I know man, and I try. I always run a speed boost but man maddies. They are faster even with my speed boost. Usually I pull in a rails to deal with them. But the few times I've tried, I have not had much success. Still workin on it. And man do blasters hurt, never ever do I go against a maddie if I run blasters. I call it suicide.

Have a fit with proto aur missiles, got a speed booster on that setup. Hate losing it, way to useful for a bit of extra damage I would think.

You should, an active tracking computer or whatever the mod is called, can't remember right now, is awesome. Makes a rail gun spin like a blaster.
