So I've searched for about 10 minutes on the forums and can't find anything about this (or I',m just an Idiot  ) but you know those multipliers on the skill books? Some examples are: racial suits have 8x, for basic frames its 5x, etc. I've done the math and nothing really seems to make sense.
Anyone know what the pattern is? |

Quite simple really, 1x cost is 6220 SP for level one, 18650 SP for level two, 2x cost is 12440 SP for level one, 37300 SP for level two etc. |

310.920 or so, is the total amount of SP you spendl from level 1 to level 5 for a 1X skill. A skill which has a cost lets say 5X will be 310,920 x 5, thats around 1,5 million SP, and so on.... |

The 1x multiplier skills are the base numbers, and the other skills are 2x or 3x or 4x those values to reach their corresponding levels.
There does seem to be some relation between the base numbers themselves, most notable of which is that Lvl 5 is the sum of Lvl 1 through 4.
Also, Lvl 4 is 2xLvl 3. Lvl 3 is 2xLvl2 + Lvl 1 + 10. Lvl 2 is 3xLvl1 +10.
No idea why the base number was 6220. Might as well ask why time is based on a 12/24 hr system, but there are 60 min in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute, and yet fractions of a second are called milliseconds...
