I think there should be a holiday where instead of a needle, you pull out a giant glass jar with a little pink fairy in it, and you open the jar and shake the fairy out over a fallen foe, who then is revived.

Chill, it's just a cosmetic change. Not like it's gonna slow the progression of other fixes in any way. Such a change is so small that it could be made during down time.
People really need to be more open minded. Besides, it's not like they guy said "FIX THIS RIGHT THE **** NOW!". He's just making a little request... in the Feedback/Requests forums. So chill.
Considering this change won't effect gameplay it would've been easier for you to just pass this thread up all together.
@OP: I think the needle is fine the way it is but I really don't care either way.

That is a blatant lie. The way CCP works they'll focus every person on that one thing. Every single person huddled around one computer, guiding the fuckhead that's resizing the Injector.
